UBlock Origin BTFO!

>While most content-blockers are indeed efficient, they are not equivalent and we observed that Ghostery performs consistently as well or better across all dimensions, often surpassing other libraries.

enjoy your broken layouts

Ghostery is literally spyware

Yes goy, use OUR adblocker instead. It works great

>adblocker financed by ad companies blocks least amount of ads the fastest!

This

AHAHAHA Ghostery fags are delusional

This.
OP is a faggot as always.

ghostery is not open source.

uBlock Origin is still better, more ethical, as it just hides the ads from the website instead of not downloading them. This way the websites that display ads get money because the advertisement companies think that you saw the ads. Of course, downloading the ads then hiding them takes up more resources, this is why it's slower, but still, properly blocking the ads is literally a theft from websites' owners. So use uHide Origin my friends, thank you.

wbesites only get money from clicks you faggot

Don't worry, uHide Origin got you covered. It also generates hidden clicks on ads, loading the advertised webpages in the background. It might take a little bit of memory up, making things a little bit slower (especially when there are a lot of ads on a website), but it's still better than stealing.

nice ghostery ad

oh no!

He's probably some shill spreading false information. Hail Gorhill, hail uBlock Origin. Gotta make money for those poor website owners with ad hiding, it's win win, who cares about like 3 seconds of waiting before the webpage shows up.

Gorgod strikes again

Yes, let's start circlejerking about content blockers and ignore the real message.
>This work was motivated by one of the claims formulated in the Manifest V3 proposal of the Chromium project: "the extension then performs arbitrary (and potentially very slow) JavaScript", talking about content-blockers' ability to process all network requests. From the measurements, we do not think this claim holds, as all popular content-blockers are already very efficient and should not incur any noticeable slow-down for users. Moreover, the efficiency of content-blockers is continuously improving, either thanks to more innovative approaches or using technologies like WebAssembly to reach native performance.

Fucking this
Ghostery is shit now (I used ghostery before uBlock came out and after a big rewrite it turned to spyware)

just use openwrt with the adblock package before ghostery pays someone to kill raymond hill and ublock development stops.

Alright. Missed the memo on Ghostery; someone redpill me please.

This comparison does not involve full extensions, but instead focuses on network request blocking engines, which is the most CPU intensive task performed by content-blockers yada yada

how new

Where the fuck does this "uBO only hides ads" come from? I know it can hide elements on the web page but if you use uBO and open devtools you'll see the ads aren't loaded. Also how would 'block third party scripts" work if it only hides stuff?

How much longer will shills lie that ublock origin hides ads?

Honestly, it's prob people getting it mixed up with ABP.
