I think there might be some correlation between working in tech and hating your dad.

I love my dad
What's your job?
CLEAN
Same but sometimes he is just an asshole to everyone
Probably but eventually almost everyone will be working in tech so we can't all hate our dads.
my dad is pretty cool except the whole molesting thing
Well, you are right again, Mr. P.
My dad was great, I think you're just retarded OP
What..? The..? F...?
Mr. Jeterson, shouldn't you cleaning your room right fucking now?
I love your dad too.
The nice lizard saves the daddy jokes from the burning boat!
I don't really hate my dad. My biological father and I never met and my adoptive father divorced my mom and stopped talking to me when I was 16 because she's a nagging borderline. Maybe a correlation between hating a parent?
Either way, I think Jow Forums attracts everyone who had a shitty childhood; which would explain all the unnecessary hostility and misanthropy.
I think my misanthropy stems more from working in retail/restaurants. Seeing how base and self-centered people are really fucks with your head
Do you have some good stories?
I think if I had good stories, then they wouldn't stem from interesting people. That's the opposite of "base".
I did encounter interesting people but nothing really greentext worthy.
Boo
they would stem from interesting people*
"tech" is just everything that was invented after you were born, it has universal meaning.
Holy fuck Jordan, follow your own rules for life.
I love my dad though, his support and wise words in times of need is the reason I got to where I am in life today.
most people with a good father end up being in more masculine professions because they learned masculine traditions from the good fathers. That being said, technology is not mutually exclusive with masculinity.
My dad is literally the reason I'm into anything tech related as it was he who introduced IT to me and gave my first computer
