Calculus really isn't relevant at all aside from specific things .
I don't see why it's required or often the only entry point to math. CS degrees should be restructured to have minimal Calculus and more other math

Depends on specialization, really. Some jobs don't require it at all, but a lot of applied math (which you might be responsible for implementing) is heavily calc based. Signal and image processing are good examples

Is diffeq critical to being a good programmer? My major has math requirements through calc3 and then some electives, I was going to do linear algebra, stats, and graph theory to fill that area as they seem more relevant, and then maybe number theory and combinatronics as electives.

I took diffeq and sunk a ton of time into math faggotry like analysis of algorithms before realizing I didn't want to do a phd and was wasting my time.
