Also redirects YT links to HookTube whose related videos are from YouTube's raw API results without YT’s new suggestion filter which prefers monetized videos/advertiser friendly content over of actual related videos.

Invidio.us specifically avoided using the unfiltered related videos API to prevent Google from making legal threats against them like they did with HookTube. This way you get the best of both worlds. Good video suggestions from HookTube and the privacy minded/lightweight video player . from Invidious.

It doesn't just link to invidious it strips out the YouTube player from the hooktube page and replaces it with the invidious player still on the hooktube page.

I think he means related videos but I don't understand this. Every time I check hooktube front page there's at least 3-4 videos that are clearly just meant as fap material for some weird fetish.

The trending page which you show literally is the raw outputs from the YouTube API without any filters. Look at the related videos ON A VIDEO not the HookTube trending page.

It appears that YouTube very heavily filters both their own official "Trending" page and video suggestions probably so the old nigger media Wall Street Journal faggots won't freak out and cause another adpocalypse but also it looks like they are just doing this to try to make you click monetized videos instead of related stuff.
