I agree with all of these except typescript, what was wrong with typescript?

ITT: butthurt NEETs who didn't get a job

Hipsters use it. That's basically the whole list.

but i like .moe

.moe doesn't really belong on this list

though .io certainly does

But all good .net domains are gone.

What's wrong with creating a decentralized network/protocol ?

What's wrong with NOSQL?

I guess I can relate to the rest, I never did understand the whole .io craze and have never seen a .moe

add c and c++ while youre at it OP niger

Absolutely over-engineered and under-engineered for almost every use case.

nice, so that's why everyone uses it along with docker, you mister are so smart! You should do consultancy for big companies!

>typescript

So you niggers really dont like functioning websites?

The problem with "open source" is that open source it a source model but PC fucktards and söyböys use it as a synonym for "free software" because they are afraid to stand up for free software.

Open sores software is not automatically libre, some of them come with restrictions regarding to modifications, redistribution

>company moved from agile back to resource planning + waterfall
>use ObjectPascal
>proprietary software
>make sure your shit fucking works
>no female / transgender / foreigner quota

It's comfy working for this company. 4 software devs, no Pajeets.
>boomer who falls for memes like microcell architecture but doesn't really do anything about it so our software stays the way it is
>EE nerd who switched to software development and just tries to do his damn job well (me)
>CS nerd who knows his shit and is responsible for 40% of our 500k line monstrosity (the guy who wrote the rest quit); doesn't fall for memes and actually has good ideas to make our dev work easier and the software more stable
>Chink lady who is still in training, but gets more done than expected

what do you suppose they write? buy me a hormone therapy?

>not using .ACD

>I build web applications
Your list is conflicting...

what's wrong with scalable?

70 employees in total, rural central Germany. 48k€ per annum before tax (which is roughly 40% of my gross income). This is my first full-time job, I have a Master's degree in engineering. A few hundred km further to the south I could earn earn like 60-70k but I'd be even farther from home and there's no guarantee working at a big company would be as comfy. As it is, I'm earning about twice what my mother does, and about 3 grand more per year than my dad does right now (used to be mechatronics engineer, then went into private teaching).

Tbh the most important thing (provided your income is enough to support your minimum lifestyle expectations) is that the job is comfy, since you'll be spending the majority of your waking life there.
