buying this monitor. what should my second one be? I really want a second monitor but I don't want to break the bank. I was thinking of a TN but the difference is probably glaring when having this beast next to a cheap washed-out-display.

should I just save up for a second IPS?

Currently have a 1060 6GB on a 1080/144 monitor.
Would it be retarded to grab a Vega 56 for £300 if i can sell my card for £150? Should I just get a 2060 instead?

Can anyone give me a good 80x20mm 4 pin fan?

What's a case similar to the 270R but with at least 1 5.25" bay?

>vram doesn't matter goy

Attached: tomsnvmerchant.png (500x500, 70K)

Of course you’re a seething amdrone. Don’t worry buddy, October is only 8 months away :^)

Noctua Redux PWM, got it in my htpc and it's good.

Yes sir, please buy Radeon with 16 GB of gaming certified HBM.

I sent my 1060 back and bought a used evga sc2 1070 for £210. No regrets.

>vram doesn't matter

Continuing from other thread, is an i7-9700k at no overclocking plans worth it? $480 vs an i7-8700 for $310. Considering the cooler as well we are looking at an almost $200 difference for what seems to be very minimal fps gains, maybe 15 fps in the more CPU intensive games. I know motherboard will need to be replaced regardless but it's a very steep asking price right now.

you will unironically get more fps by getting faster ram speeds & timings than ocing those cpus

>intel
DEPRECATED

Attached: thiskillstheintelfag.png (252x171, 56K)

What's technically more demanding; One 1440p60fps or two 1080x1200 at 90 screens?

i7-8700, got it. One last question, is it true the 8700 thermal throttles on intel's stock cooler? Never had any issues on my current CPU but I saw quite a few reports of Intel cheaping out on that specific cooler.

you gonna render a game over two screens or what? the last one is more pixels and more fps so it would be more demanding!? I dont know why you are doing this m8

well it is pretty shit its enough for a 8400 boosts but it has 6 cores and no ht and lower clocks so idk m8

Just get a Hyper 212 with it man

Are there air coolers similar in functionality to stock coolers, while being better than the provided AMD stock cooler? I'd love to get something like that to help cool VRM's even a tad.
I only know of the Cooler Master G100M, and I don't care much for the RGB.

>what should my second one be?
probably a one with the same hz if you are running wangblows 10 unless u want your main monitor to bump down to 60hz and start lagging ass once u run something on the second monitor as this seems to be a known bug

Sure, thanks guys.

A 212 destroys stock shit and even beats the fancy coolers AMD ships with Ryzen.

alot of diff manufacturers make top down coolers but you dont need one like that unless you lack space in the case and you dont need it for vrm, a regular tower cooler will help push air over vrms too

I'd assume so, but I was mostly just wanting a lower profile cooler than anything else.

Two screens are part of a vr headset. As vr benchmarks are few and far between I've been comparing 1440 benchmarks to my current 970.

Why not just buy a 2060 at that point?

Is this an actual thing? I’ve been considering using a 1080p 60hz screen next to my 1440p 144hz screen just to have discord and stuff up while I play.

what's with all these faggots with 2 or 3 monitors on their desk
are you a stock trader? Jesus lol

>1 screen for full screen gaming
>1 screen for discord/Jow Forums/whatever else
What’s so hard to understand about that? Also watching a movie while trading stocks is kino

>Is this an actual thing?
idk you google it and you tell me

I've currently got the CM 590 III Black, which, while it's okay for what I wanted originally, I've grown not too fond of the acrylic side panel, single front panel USB 3.0, small amount of gap for a bottom intake fan, and a few other things.
Ideally, I was looking at the Corsair 270R, but because it doesn't have a front panel ODD bay, that's crossed off my figurative list. I've got a basic bitch DVDRW currently, but am looking to either add or upgrade that to a BDR.
>ATX mobo support
>2x 140mm front fan mount
>1x 140mm rear fan mount
>1x 92/140mm bottom fan mount
>2x front panel USB 3.0
>1x 5.25" ODD
>CPU coolers clearance of up to 165mm
I'm not yet willing to forego the front 5.25" ODD bay until I can find a reasonably inexpensive external Bluray reader.
Anyone got any recommendations for cases like these in varying price brackets? I want to upgrade, but I'm not sure which price range I want to hop into yet, and would still like room for upgrading in the future without having to worry about space constraints.

My shitposting sessions and my bidio game sessions always work in harmony, unless you're a pro gaymur there's no need to have 2 monitors because you can't alt tab in the middle of a live game

look it up online lol

define r6 ?

anyone who owns a logitech g403 here? I just found out there's a firmware update that fixes the funny scrolling (you scroll up and it is registered as a scroll down). I thought it was a rolling wheel issue but the firmware update actually fixed the problem. you should update your mouse too if you haven't already
>Software version: 108.3.14 for wired / 3.14.12 for wireless.
>download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/gaming/G403Update_3.14.12.exe

Attached: 1533824369151.jpg (1500x1001, 163K)

Weird, I’ve never experienced this

Never had this issue, I moved up to a G502 and it feels even better. Ebin mice

apparently it only affects some models, as the changelog says. guess you were lucky. after spending 100 bucks on a piece of hardware I was really pissed off but didn't really think about a firmware issue at all

Fractal Define R series (not cheap), Phanteks Enthoo Pro series (huge and not cheap), Thermaltake Core series (comes in many sizes and prices), Lian-Li V-Series (expensive and EOL) and maybe Silverstone Raven but I only know about their sff cases and their normal ones might not be cheap.

Youll be dead soon great job

I want to take good care of my gaming PC, and I'd like a bit of software to check the HDD once in a while. Would you guys recommend crystaldiskinfo or whatever it was?

>HDD in 2019

nand memory is where it's at gramps

Why is Vega64 pricing all over the place? It ranges from $350 to $700 for the same card.

Some are way overstocked, probably overproduced when the mining bubble popped. They're selling off V56s in europe for 250 right now.

What is the best monitor I can get for under 150€

Can't believe how hard this is to find. There's so many different models, all with different cons, some people saying IPS is shit, others saying TN is shit. I don't need 144hz because I wont use it for gaming. 24" would be the ideal size, 27" for this price probably doesn't exist.

Sorry mate but everything under 200 is garbage with zero quality control.
Maybe try one of those iiyama AMVA panels? Just make sure you buy from amazon or somewhere with no questions return in case of the inevitable dead pixels or blb.

Why do people make over $10,000 computer builds? I noticed a lot of youtubers making them is it for video processing or aomething?

Need mass storage and want to buy a HDD. What's the best option:
Seagate IronWolf
WD Red
Thoshiba Nas drive
HGST Nas drive

internet meme points

I bought a $250 Dell monitor on Craigslist for $100 new in-box. A lot of nerds overlook CL as a viable place to buy parts.

>A lot of nerds overlook CL as a viable place to buy parts
Particularly Europeans, given that CL doesn't exist there.

Tax write -offs and CS:GO at 400fps

Toshiba obviously.
They overlook Facebook groups even more
got some absolutely ebin deals in my local groups.

Just buy any IPS panel retard
this looks sexy as fuck, get it
amazon.co.uk/Dell-S2319H-LED-backlit-Ultrathin-Response/dp/B07BZ97BF6/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1550513308&sr=8-16&keywords=ips 1080p

This. Tax write offs for sure

are these chink x79 boards any good?

Attached: 811uh87OZVL._SL1500_.jpg (1500x1500, 300K)

Depends on what you’re using them for

Asus Rog Strix : Gigabyte Windforce

Any one know which is more quite, or worth the money.

I personally would avoid gigabyte; had nothing but issues with their Mobos and GPUs.

I'm only interested in 1080@75hz.
2060 , 2070 , 2080 ?

You know if zotac is any good?

skip 20 series, go for 1070 and up.

The first-gen ray tracing tech has had some issues on most people as far as I've heard.

>RTX 2060 thanks to 6gb VRAM is only good as a short-term solution
Cringe
m.youtube.com/watch?v=pfnzHA3-MhM

I own a Zotac 1050. It's a nice brand but has it's faults such as cards dying out.

If you're thinking about going Zotac, go with their Mini cards for any itx builds and such. Otherwise, you could get something better from going to anyone else.

Zotac Amp is great and 5 years warranty if your in Europe.

Can’t comment on them sorry.

This is my system. What's a reasonable (as in not expensive as fuck) CPU upgrade to get higher framerates on games? Tired of seeing numbers tank at certain situations.

Attached: file.png (573x365, 34K)

That video clearly shows the card struggling with new titles, nvidiot.

No it doesn't get a brain amdrone.

Ryzen

How much do they pay you?

Enough to keep 'em as a brainless zombie.

Where you located?

bananaland

But I also heard that HGST is pretty good when it comes to reliability and that Thoshiba HDDs sound like jet engines.

Need to upgrade my 280x. Mostly play csgo but would like to be able to get 144fps plus on apex(low settings).

Is a r5 2600 worth OCing at 1440p?
I've managed to get my ryzen 5 2600 t0 4.0 ghz at 1.275V but I've ve been noticing some system instability when playing at 1440p due to the CPU usage exceeding 80% in some games. I have a 1070, but I'd like to get a better GPU and maybe upgrade to Zen2 in half a year or so. I'm not OCing to 4.2Ghz because my cooler isn't that great, and the power consumption is already pretty high at 4.0ghz (40W idle, 120-130W @ load).

Attached: Untitled-2-small.jpg (615x404, 57K)

Seen the S2419HN (24" version of that one I think?) for sale and it caught my attention. Read some negative comments about backlight bleeding but also read good reviews about these so I'm undecided.

Is that hueland?
I have a 2600 @ 4.1ghz at 1.4v and tied with 1080ti play all my games at max setting seeing around 80-120fps 1440p. Even then the highest I’ve seen my cpu usage was 30%. What are you doing to get above 80%?

yep

Should I even bother with the cheap 1070s that are getting vomited on ebay by miners or just go for the 1660?

Attached: 1522818562355.png (204x251, 106K)

Wait for zen 2, you don't need an upgrade right now

Doesn’t eBay offer buyer protection? Buy the card, and stress test it for the first 24hrs. If it’s subpar send it back for a full refund via eBay

I asked because if you were a burger you could get a mobo/Ryzen/ram combo for $380. Not sure about hue land but the above combo is still probably your best upgrade path. Everything else can be moved across to the new build.

>What are you doing to get above 80%?
I play Battlefield 5 and use DX12.
I also like having dozens of tabs open as well.

Monkeys get like a +40% import tax on technology. It's not affordable at all.

get them sent to a parents or friends house

1060 is obsolete at this point, get a 2060

He said 1660, the soon to release turing equivalent of the 1060.

bleed is a meme, get it, if it's bad just replace it. Don't let the vocal minority sway you, you think everyone gets shit panels 24/7? Fuck

>1660ti
What an ugly name. Even if it turns out good I wouldn't buy one because it takes too long to say.

Attached: 1548036790940.jpg (466x470, 38K)

I'd rather have it be 11 instead of 16. It makes no damn sense.

i'm currently using a gtx 660 and i want to play sfv at 1440p. my 660 manages it for the most part, but drops to about 40 during some flashy animations. would a 1060 be a good buy? or should i wait and see if a 1660 Ti exists? what's the amd equivalent?

SIXTEEN SIXTY TEE EYE

Since you're poor, buy a Vega
otherwise get a 2080
1440p is no joke.

>1440p is no joke
Ya don't say chief.
