Applel should remove Cook and Ive and replace them with Wozniak and that Esslinger guy
Apple is doomed. Just embrace it.
never understood this image, is mocking a single board computer or something?
And it's been on it's way to death ever since Jobs died and got replaced with Tim Cuck
(sorta)
I was working at Nokia at the time, making the browser for the N9. It had some potential but it took too damn long to get ready :/
Shilling turned into a meme.
Wait this was cancelled? I really liked the idea of a phone powering a laptop.
Razer cancels almost all their most interesting stuff, so I doubt we'll ever see that. Motorola did actually have a consumer product that did that though in the early 2010s called the Atrix.
That one is real though.
I really liked mine.
is this an optical illusion?
its making my brain hurt
Did they actually released this monstrosity?
Oh wow.
Does software count?
i need this right now
Yes, of course. Software is where the term "vaporware" originally came from
I wonder why there has not been an E ink keyboards that changes its keys when you switch layouts on your operating system.
>101 e-ink displays
Because that would be fucking expensive.
Those buttons would have been garbage. Why would you want that?
I wonder if MS got it's inspiration for win8 from the whistler theme
That looks a lot like a G3 iMac
will never be released
Didn't they merge the tech with the Vive, which is why it's the de facto official steam headset?
no this is their own thing. they stopped working with HTC
why is it look like Windows 8?
Or the G4 eMac. Mah gawd that was comfy...
Been out of the loop on this for awhile. IS it seriously still not in production?
I had a coworker that modded the base to work with a raspberry pi.
Wozniak would never have supported a system like that, though, he wanted to build crappy hobbyist toys until the end. I don't really get why people overrate him and his negligible contributions to computing so much.
god dammit. guess I'll have to use a GDP win after all.
I wish tablets picked up the pace and actually allowed for freedom of use (rooted by default)
I still miss it. We never got it but I miss it
Still the best phone os.
Asus did that too
It's getting there. The company that was supposed to build the cases fucked up and they had to move to a new one.
The rest sounds more or less ready though and he's currently building the prototype units with the few cases he already has.
Looks good, desu desu.
Physical keyboard and a small second screen with wacom stylus would be better desu. Tho there should be some customizable shortcuts on side too. I'd buy one.
padfone, more like fadphone lololol
eazel nautilus, blew through 12 mil usd and 75 employees to deliver a filemanager
>Nautilus
Somehow this is even worse than startups that deliver nothing and close down.
Source?
The touch keyboard would be shit
>$12M for a file manager vastly inferior than voluntarily developed Dolphin or Pcmanfm
fucking foot is a fucking cancer
2257 was peak design
oh please don't make me remember project optimus
In the end the work you guys did will prove to be more meaningful than the work of the million android shills that are responsible for their os succeeding when yours failed.
pic looks like a prototype though, there's no memory.
this looks fragile as fuck
I had this theme installed for as long as I used xp. still don't get why they went with the teletubby look on release.
I wish I had one of those.
I thought this looked nice
thats the dumbest wifi antenna ive seen in some time.
It's expandable storage so you can put your flashdrive in there.
Netbooks were a dark time in computing
I can't figure out what the point of landscape mode is.
This is the one that got stolen, right?
whats behind those screens? it cant just stay like that without stands or some weights in the other part
zoomer detected
Nope, some only had memory on one side
my text editor
like 10y to late :(
I can't find it now, but there was a concept image a long time ago of the Geode Origami running XP, and back in the day I absolutely lusted for one.
Razer Project Christine

I loved all the 3dfx boards I owned, but their approach of just adding more and more chips was not sustainable in the least.
I was only excited for this concept until I realized that once I buy the phone and the blocks I want I'm probably never going to change them again. I don't trust Android phone manufacturers to supply fucking OS updates for more than six months after release so there's zero chance they would have kept releasing compatible blocks as upgrades over any span of time.
This would have been shit. It's the trick of taking something open and standard and making it proprietary for no gain to the consumer.
All the components for it would have been twice the cost for the same performance, with no secondhand market value or customization.
>portrait and landscape modes
>it's a square
???
Reminds me of the Vaio P series
Wozniak is Jow Forums personified, he would make extremely autistic gimmicky.
>Convoluted hardware made it insane for the average person: knowing what does what, what works with what, and how to connect the pieces.
It was woefully outdated when they announced it, but idiots still preordered it.
