Dexed - DX7 freeware simulation
TYRELL N6 - sounds a bit like the Junos, also freeware
Instrument: Omnisphere, u-he Diva
Effects: FabFilter Pro-Q & MB, SPL Transient Designer, Vertigo VSC-2, Waves H-Reverb
Glaceverb
Carve because it can mangle the shit put of shit
Toneboosters Timemachine
Korg Legacy Collection
very cool
fm8
serum
Waves trueverb, api comp, api eq (4 band)
Arturia moog mini, modular, actually all of their classics
Plogue bidule, reactor type thing,
Olga, weird ass russian synth
Any body got any 32 bit delay recomendations? Can't find a waves one that doesn't suck.
Drumazon and nepheton, 808 and 909 so hot right now
Meme vst
>Arturia
They have some neat stuff
>dexed
Absolutely amazing. If only it had portamento.
I love Tone2's stuff. Firebird, Gladiator, Electra2, Rayblaster, all of their effects... Shame their copy protection methods are so shady.
Zynaptiq Adaptiverb sounds great IMO.
AirWindows is a massively underrated dev of free libre plugins.
The Oddyssey was the highlight for me.
Synth1 is pretty good for freeware
I often use the old 32-bit version of Piano One (freeware), it's pretty good.
Note that the old 32-bit, old 64-bit, and new versions are entirely different plugins. I can't really comment on them as I haven't used them.

Frohmage
Camelphat
Ohmicide
SUPERWAVE P8
This, it's pretty underrated
Isotope trash is better than Ohmicide imo, sounds higher quality.
What are some of the best freeware VSTs available? Personally I think P-NES is a pretty good retro sounding synth but I need more because I'm a poorfag
The sims 2 is so much better than the sims 4 wtf
Waves is the best and softube
fuck I forgot about izotope
seconding the Tyrell.
Does anyone know a VST plugin that is free and does de-noising for a microphone track (preferably live)?
I've tried ReaFIR but it makes it all sound metallic and shitty. Using a Noisegate (ReaGate) to eliminate humming / buzzing while I don't talk, but I always have to do passes afterwards.
Dunno, it kinda always makes plasticy sounds
BUMP
>synth1
Totally forgot about that one
Addictive Keys
Zyn-Fusion, Guitarix, LinuxSampler
not really VST, rather LV2 ;)
and open-source
here.. how could I have forgotten API. Love the 2500 compressor.
if you use virtual channel strips you're retarded.
All I can say is native instruments studio drummer is the only piece of software I’ve ever paid for and been completely satisfied with. Oh and guitar rig.
On the flip side I enjoy creating shitty VSTs with synthmaker. My latest one is a chorus called Mr Sparkle, with a picture of homer on it
>My latest one is a chorus called Mr Sparkle, with a picture of homer on it
heh
works for me
nothing personnel kiddos
Do they provide the most analog sound of all the vst?
who even wants to sound like they record in the goddamn abbey road studios when they're on their pc in the basement
don't sound like fucking abbey road unless you literally record there
my negus
I've always used addictive drums
also, MODO bass is superb, which is a surprise considering it's pure physical modelling
I didn’t see one mention of NI Massive, what the fuck is wrong with you people?
>> Learn NI Massive
>made with Synthedit
It's kinda sad how talking about music production works so well on Jow Forums while anything productive on /mu/ slides off the board in literally 5 minutes by waves of 0 to 1 post threads
SNES Delay
Sylenth1, ArtsAcoustic Reverb, Invisible Limiter, PSP Vintagewarmer 2
This. Dexed is insane
inane
that's what your post is
> be /mu/
> have production threads reach bump limits all the time
you're talking nonsense.
iZotope >>> FabFilter
>no linear phase mode
>no Sidechain Analyzer
>no Sidechain Trigger for each Band
>better than FabFilter
Thanks for your input though Martin Garrix fanboy.
>If only it had portamento
maybe it's possible to suggest that so it gets into the next version update
New to audio related shit and I'm sure I'm better off asking here than /mu/, is there any good software to run VSTs on an audio input in realtime besides full DAWs? I just wanna run my mic through some effects before it gets to discord (and also cut out one channel because my 2 interface inputs are configured as a stereo input, making discord pick up my mic and instrument inputs).
