First for build when you have the funds and don’t fall for the wait meme.

>2700/X best high-end
>3400 cl16 ram
>1660ti for 1440p
>6gb is not enough meme

Trash OP again

>First for build when you have the funds and don’t fall for the wait meme.
I increased my credit limit, am $500p in debt and have funds now.
Should I buy now?

I wish Zen CPUs used LGA. The added security is much more convenient to work with.

??

??

Wait for Navi™ sir.
It's Raiden 7 + 25% performance + 3 free games for $299

>1660ti for 1440p
>6gb is not enough meme
nice self defeating argument retard

>i couldn't vandalize the OP this time REEEEEEEEEEE

Attached: 1537755368478.png (575x641, 40K)

It's all I've ever planned for. I'm looking to hold out till Navi 2 and ryzens last revision. By them I know I'll have reached the pinnacle.
Heard that ram is dropping by 30% soon too.

1660ti is shit for 1440p just like 1070 is
2060 is more than fine despite its vram

My mind's been wrapped on this non-issue. Looking for a speedy NVMe drive. I'm looking for durability, and a good drive for any engineering/scientific applications I might wanna run at home.
(None of that video editing BS)

Isolated the Samsung 970 Pro and Evo Plus. I need someone to tell me which one to buy.

Crucial P1

Not him but but interested in your reasoning.

cl16 ram
That's sub 10 nanosecond latency

When will I need 32GB of ram?

and yet when you look at people here, and not youtube comments, you get a more realistic representation. There is also plenty youtube videos disagreeing with your opinion.

>8400 is also b-die there, faggot
It hardly cares though, you can give the 8400 some shit 2666 RAM and it will output pretty much the same performance. Ryzen on the other hand gets gimped hard without it.
It's not exactly fair if you give both competitors the thing only one of the competitors desperately needs.

?

Crucial makes high quality ram and I’d assume that’s carried over into SSD. Plus
>5yr warranty
>good sequential read/write speeds
>cheaper than Samsung of similar size

but it's qlc

Should I save up for a 1080ti or just get a 1070 or 590?

>1660ti is shit for 1440p just like 1070 is
sped

Ok, now post 1%s and 0.1%s and if either are below 60 at ultra settings he's right.

>$20 more for no gains
>shit games that can run on a potato
You really showed me

3200Mhz CL14 or CL16 for Zen2 when they come out assuming the same ram benefits as Zen1?
CL14 is about 60% more expensive so doubt the performance/$ will be good but still

Isn't Far Cry 5 AMDrone's favorite game?

western digital black

>Ryzen and wait for navi general

samsung SZ985

hello user
you should buy a zen CPU and wait for navi

how based can one user be

Is there a way to rice my PC so I can turn it on with a wireless toggle switch like pic related?

Attached: red_fighter_pilot_toggle_computer_PC_power_reset_switch_momentary2.jpg (700x525, 86K)

Wait for Zen 3 and Navi 2

How else are you going to objectively determine the power of a GPU? Of course nobody is playing at full max settings because some stuff looks like ass(chromatic aberration, blur, dof etc.) and some stuff just tanks fps for no visual benefit(4 or 8x msaa at 1440p) but for testing purposes, to make it equal across the board, everything has to be cranked to the max. Especially if you want to make a reliable recommendation. Otherwise you end up with statements like "oh, this card is really fucking good in this game if you turn down these settings and disable that completely. bam, 60fps ;)". Fuck that shit.

Find a game that isnt shit the 1660ti cant run 60fps+ at 1440p

Attached: grand-theft-auto-v_2560-1440.png (500x610, 41K)

Shill OP

In my country the 2060 is cheaper than the 1660ti
lol at Nvidia

Just undervolt your Vega 56 and bam ;)

Attached: Metro_1440p.png (1327x1225, 51K)

There is probably nothing wrong with telling people to get intimate with their card.
It takes no time and is actually enjoyable. Just look at the amount of burly men messing with their car and loving it. Nvidia doesn't even allow you to do voltage adjustments. Can you imagine that? Yikes.

youtu.be/lRkY53pwRCc?t=232

Is thermal paste really important for your CPU? Particularly the Ryzen 5. Gonna buy some either way.

youtu.be/lRkY53pwRCc?t=370

How are Zotac cards? The triple fan model 2070 ZT-T20700B-10P is on sale for 520, was thinking of picking up just an evga black one.

techspot.com/review/1797-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1060-ti/

pick your poison.

No thanks, Id rather buy high-end parts.

It costs nothing as long as you don't buy Kryonaut or some laboratory-grade stuff.
The stock paste on the Zen coolers is fine and convenient to use but you're going to want some more in case you ever need to remove the cooler which could be right away for troubleshooting reasons.

scrub

And there is probably nothing wrong with telling people to get intimate with their games.
Just turn down some settings, it takes no time and is actually enjoyable.

Finding the right settings can get in the way of gameplay, so I'd say this is a bit more of an issue.

kryonaut is a meme

$10 for 1g is unreasonable as hell, yeah. The only way it could be fine to use is if you somehow got tons of it through sponsorship.

>chink store game that cant run anything higher than 60fps
i said good game retard

Attached: rainbow-six-siege_2560-1440.png (500x610, 41K)

Can't find paste inside the box unless you mean the paste is already applied on the fan.

And undervolting can crash your game. I'd say this is a bit more of an issue.

It's already applied.

What a terrible argument. I'm not even going to bother pointing out what's wrong with it.

Do you guys do video editing or something? I can't think of another reason to own a card that's super fast. Not for gaming that is. Perhaps maybe for non-video processing needs like protein folding or bitcoin farming maybe? Video games stagnated a long time ago.

I accept your surrender

You will need a super fast GPU for
>playing game at extremely high framerate
AND/OR
>playing game at extremely high resolution

Or you could buy a PS4 and play the game at 900p@30FPS

Don't make that assumption.
Just cause I'm good at fucking doesn't mean my loads are massive.
Also
>but it's qlc
But I think qlc works in that other guys favour. Can't remember

Imagine a RAM stick with an heatspreader that doesn't look horrendous.

Zotac stuff isn't shit as far as I have seen. They put some beffy coolers on it and don't gimp the VRM for it to be shit.
It's not top of the line, but it's pretty quiet focused. Not the best, but not the worst for sure. If the price is good I would personally probably get a zotac.
How many phases does the 2070 you think about getting have?

>2070 not recommended for 1440p

But why

The 2060 will only be able to handle 1440p for the next year-ish ... after that, games will eat it alive.

How's the Noctua NT-H1 paste?

NT-H1 and MX-4 are both fine and perform more or less identically

pcpartpicker.com/list/TRVfLJ Gonna be buying these parts within the next 4 days, does it look good for 1080p gaming?

Nt-h2 exists

looks solid, might be able to get a seasonic 650w PSU for cheaper, you can also find memory for $10-$20 cheaper

>pcpartpicker.com/list/TRVfLJ
Looks bretty good
Memory is on the expensive side, you could probably get something near identical in performance for 30-40 less
2600x is worth if that motherboard is compatible with OC but its not necessary

Is this a good starter build?
pcpartpicker.com/list/VVjLTB

When will ram be cheaper?

Alright thank you anons, hope my build goes well

Get a better power supply. At least corsair tx650m or seasonic focus gold. Don't cheap out on the part that can fry your whole build.

It seems to be 8 on the evga and 10 on the Zotac. The two cards in question are these:
techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/zotac-rtx-2070-amp-extreme.b6280
techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/evga-rtx-2070-black.b6343
For 20 bucks more at current prices the Zotac one doesn't seem so bad. I just never switched from the evga brand before and unsure of quality.

max ram freq for R5 2400g?
Can it handle only two ram sticks?

consumer parts are dual channel only at the moment

Could I save by getting a lower wattage? Like say, 450.

means some driver uptade in the future will allow quad-channel?

when will we get consumer 4channel parts

nice one
nope, that depends on the PCB traces and no BIOS update will ever change that

It's unavailable in my shithole

so no reason to buy cheap ram and a four ram slot mobo?

bazinga

r8 2k budget build please.
pcpartpicker.com/list/wVrWRJ

It would be enough, but performance degrades over time too. I would get a good gold rated 550w unit at least.

you get more capacity but not more bandwidth
people who run productivity tasks may find having >16gb helpful
motherboards with only two dimm slots actually overclock memory slightly better if you care about that

>four ram slot mobo
If 32GB is not enough for you

Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week and I appreciate the upvotes. I was originally going to write 8 channel, but then I thought I could turn it into a joke!

Attached: 1404507419443.jpg (419x249, 66K)

I'm a tundra cave ruskie, I'm talking budget, 8gb ram
I'm going for htpc budget build without gpu with r52600g, don't think I'll oc, at least not now, maybe in future when I'll get a gpu too.
That's why I'm asking, to somehow get a cheap shit now but somehow available to upgrade in future if needed-but then I'd need to toss that ram for newer, not just buy another one for quad channel

well APUs are memory starved so you may find overclocking the memory helpful on a motherboard that's inherently good at it even if you didn't buy appropriate sticks

Get a better mobo (TUF is shit), 16Gb are enough as of now, Gigabyte's performance is quite shit, i would get something like Asus desu since they copied the NB eloop fan design.

thank you. speaking of motherboards, which am4 way to go? 350 or 450?

Also get the Lian Li Dinamic. The 280x is overpriced shit.

either should be fine, depends on the individual model
look for an actual heatsink and a decent-looking power delivery

Is that a suicide switch?
