Yeah, it sucks donkey cock.

Yeah, it sucks monkey fuck.

It's okay.

I am looking forward to buy one but the prices are fucking high in Germany

It's a 1070 with less vram. Not really impressive compared to last generation.
Guess I will be sticking with my 1070 for a few more years. 2070 is too expensive and the 2060 is not worth upgrading too.

3 years ago it was known as the gtx 1070 and it's a fucking joke

Is this better than my 980ti?

should've just been called 1160

Vega 56 is same price

Let me know when a 1070 used to cost $280 you retarded consumerist sheep.

good luck finding one

it costs that right now you fucking retard

it's 200 here, sorry that you live in a shithole

same here. skipping everything till 7nm

>3.5

Are you fucking stupid?
All I said is it was not impressive, which it isn't.
The 1060 was about as good as a 980 and smoked the 970.
The 1660ti barely performs better than a 1070. Compared to last generation it should be around a 1080.
This generation is unimpressive, as I said.

>6GB VRAM
>The current year

Enjoy buying a raped 3 year old card, smoothbrains.

>The 1060 was about as good as a 980 and smoked the 970.
No it wasn't, and no it didn't. It was barely better than the 970, and it can't hold a candle to the 980.

Bunch of addlepated /v/ consumerist sheep.

hurr durr enjoy buying the same shit in a different box

>Segmentation of nVidia GPU lineup because monopoly. (RTX vs no RTX)
>1070 tier performance however too close to 1070 MSRP nearly 3 years ago when it was released and too close to 1070 ti pricing just few months ago
If you can find one ~$200 on sale then its a good value card. Otherwise, its meh value. Still better than AMD offering, but AMD cannot compete right now properly, so doesn't say much.

Thats the 970 faggot!

>6GB VRAM
It's shit. Get an RX 580. In 3 years, the 580's 8GB of VRAM will mean it will perform better than the 1660 Ti's 6GB. Don't listen to Nvidia shills on Jow Forums or "professional" benchmarkers. They're (((ignoring))) the obvious common sense rules.

>muh vram
Actually neck yourself.

>In 3 years
Just wait!

Buy Raiden 7 16GB good please sir

Sir, do the needful, plz sir

You can tell the hype hit the kids hard, they are talking about this everywhere.

Just get the RTX 2060 and don't buy this rehash.

It's the best card for epick ultra gaymen zoomers who don't have the IQ to deal with used cards or undervolting a Vega 56 (currently on sale for $279).

oy vey, just stop kvetching and buy, goy!

Attached: 1416407553415.gif (359x346, 2.93M)

Yeah all these dif cards is getting fucking confusing, on both sides really.

>currently on sale for $279
And very rare to find one.

I know right? They're only in every webshop that sells hardware ever

Also, personally each of this gen's card should be a price tier lower to match the last gen's Pascal tier.

1660ti = $200 not $300
2060 = $279 not $400
2070 = $379 not $600
2080 = $499 not $900
2080ti = $699 not $1300

Any higher price = avoid at all cost.

Is the 2080 a good choice and what does justify the price gap between it and the 2080 ti?

try 6.0 retard

Same performance as the 980Ti. 5 years later.

This gen's nVidia pricing is justified by monopoly.

>what does justify the price gap between it and the 2080 ti?
Uh, the increase in performance maybe?

what happened to the:
1160
1260
1360
1460
1560
???

Confusing naming policy. Doesn't seem like much of an upgrade over the previous.

The numbers don't make sense anymore and I hate Nvidia for it because it's 100% intentional on their part.

>Implying

If the first number doesn't change then it's meaningless. It doesn't need to be there or they just go straight to 2.

In 6 months 580 will be deprecated

GTX 1070 is $379 MSRP at launch, don't listen to anyone else's lies about pricing

GTX 1660 Ti is $279, it's cheaper and better

has no place when the 2060 exists

And you can currently find 1070s for sale in the present for $300. Pay the extra few dollars to futureproof yourself with 8GB of VRAM.

>1070 for $300
>Vega 56 for $270
Good luck finding one

>newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814125871
???

>used: $360
>new: $300
Seriously what the fuck?

>Fortnite bundle
God I hate normalfags.

>shitty ass blower housefire vega for 279
The rest are 400

The RTX bundle isn't much better - either BFV or Anthem (both for 2080 I believe).

Used = third party from China/Asia
New = newegg

Don't buy Pooga56

AYYMD SCAM EXPOSED

>pooga56
>not Vegana 56

Better off getting a used Vega 56 at that price.Faster out of the box and much more tweaking headroom.

I am super pumped for the release, might even camp outside of GameStop for it.
hoping my bull will buy it for me

>10XX
>20XX
>16XX
What did nvidia mean by this?

Attached: 1525786251396.jpg (1297x1080, 503K)

Like 50-100$ too expensive due to lack of competition but otherwise ok.

so vega 56 or 1660?

Vega or wait for Navi (if that shit ever comes out). Don't fall for the 6GB VRAM meme.

buy an used rx 580 for around 100-160 bucks and wait another 3 years at the very least.

I have a GTX 970 currently and while it is holding strong, I need more fps. So now I'm looking at 1660 VS rx 590. What do you think user? I also can't find the vega 56 anywhere for 200.

What do you need more than 6 GB for on a card with this amount of power?

retard

Purely performance-wise, the 590 is completely dominated by the 1660 Ti. However, it comes with free games that are actually good.

Won't the 6gb of vram on the 1660 bite me in the ass later?

Attached: 1549357220137.jpg (960x697, 86K)

Lol no, unless you're playing at 4k/2k there is no reason 6 gigs of VRAM won't be more than enough.

Word, thx user. 1080p is enough for me.

2k is 1080p

based retard

Next gen consoles are guaranteed going to have 16GB+ unified memory (highest currently is 12 GB on XboneX). Watch Dogs 1 on PC ate up GPUs with under 2 GB of VRAM, but 4 GB did fine. PS4 has 8 GB of memory, which is double of what you needed on PC. Thus, given that optimization of PC ports suck enormous nigger dicks, you will need 16/2=8GB of VRAM for games to run smoothly. 6 GB might fuck you in the ass.
>however, kind user, I would like to let you know that the 2060/1660Ti have fast GDDR6 VRAM
The consoles will get faster RAM as well.

>shared system RAM
>fast

>This generation is unimpressive, as I said.
Yeah Moore's Law is dying, everyone should have known this was coming, it should not be surprising in the least. Nvidia themselves have been telling you it was going to happen for a decade now.

I like the number 1660 it looks good next to the letters GTX.
GTX 1660
Then I blew my load when I realised the letters TI
Followed it
fwoarrrrr GTX 1660 TI
oh yeah rub your numbers and letters all over my body

It's p fucking good for its price. Also, it's the most power efficient gpu out there.

For me, it's the RTX 2060.

Attached: 1549903345697.jpg (960x924, 70K)

Completely redundant since the 1660ti launch if I'm honest with you.

The difference is the 1660 is a card that's meant to play current games, where as the 2060 still has headroom for future games.

Attached: 1549892489005.jpg (1125x1115, 377K)

Not quite, 2060 has barely any headroom for future games due to its memory size.

Look at 1080p benchmarks, dumbass. That 15% overhead is what matters in the next couple of years.

Attached: 1550421364570.jpg (600x600, 31K)

Nah, that would hardly save you when the next gen comes. 2060 and 1660ti are pretty similar when it comes to performance.

Next gen comes in November 2020, so almost two years from now.

So you're set with 1660ti or 2060 for 1080p until them.

You're set with

Like I said, the difference between 1660ti and 2060 is very marginal.

Yeah. You can get a 1070 for 200 bucks. This thing is pointless.

>Paying 280/300 dolla for a card that will only last two years
KEK

as opposed to?

Vega 56 or Navi in 5 months.

vega 56 is a useless space heater

navi has not yet materialized and its merits cannot be gauged

diagnosis: deluded amd nigger on a shilling shift

Have fun with your 2 year expiration date GPU then. Gotta fund those leather jackets like a good goy.

It's basically a 1070 with less VRAM but new architecture if all the reviews are to be trusted. I don't see any reason to get this instead of 1070 if you can get it for the same price though the VRAM will probably not matter anyway at least for games. If 2060 came at this price at least it would've been something.

zero arguments as per usual, only inane shilling befitting of a sect
amd niggers truly are the vegans of hardware

The irony of calling people "consumerist sheep" for not wanting to buy the newest product a company shits out.

Attached: 1365172237558.jpg (887x1097, 77K)

Have you considered playing at high instead of ultra? The difference is almost imperceptible at 1080p.

Just buy it

Sadly thats not the reality we live in. They cost what they do and we have to make the best of it. That's why people are wondering if it's worth the upgrade.

Personally I had to upgrade to a 970 before 10-series came out because my old GPU shit itself. Now the 970 is really starting to feel the old age and I want to upgrade but rx580 seems not enough of a bump to be worth it and 1660ti and 2060 are kinda expensive. Vega 56's cost more than 2060 over here so that's not an option either. Not sure if I should just try to make do until the next gen AMD or what.
