No, DHTs are in torrent files as well. The client I use (qBit) has an user mode that clears the user agent and hides info like IP, port, etc to the public. However, this doesn't mean that it can't still be seen. The only way to be 100% safe is to use a VPN, or if you have the time, join a ptg.
