embarassing for huawei desu
how could they release this plastic crease shit even?

Lmao

reminder to never buy chinese.

never will

It should be called Mate X Crease.

and they are asking over 2000 dollar for that crease. no thanks

Samsung also uses plastic in their fold. There is no such thing as foldable glass.

but there is no crease on the samsung fold

lol

yeah? then how did they make bottles or jars?

yeah wtf is up with that. royale flexpai does the same thing. seems like they rushed this without putting in the engineering to the hinge like samsung in order to upstage the galaxy fold event

samsung is also plastic sheet.
Without Japanese innovation the gooks and chinks are really useless.
Hope new Emperor end their autism and bring back their spirit.
The Innovation market has become really boring.

hrm i do like this folding design better than the samsung. but the price is WTF.

do you have to push to remove the crease or something?

Also reminder to never buy American, Korean, Russian or Islamic.

anyone else see two weird-ass looking dogs over a vapourwave background in that thumbnail?
fucking creepy

based szichophrenic

What material in all of reality folds sharply without a crease?

probably why samsung's doesn't. the spine is curved not flat

yeah samsung actually took the time to make the spine, kinda shit design on the rest of the phone though

you're really making a big assumption. we'll find out when people get hands on reviews and when it can be subjected to regular lighting. im going to bet all of them have a certain amount of creasing when angled directly towards light.

why would you ever be under the impression that a crease-proof fold could ever exist?
expect people to start complaining about the dark line forming in the center of the screen within a few months.

samsung's been working on this for a decade. they developed the tech themselves. really doubt they would rush something out with a defect like a crease not sorted out

youtube.com/watch?v=gS9CWfLg1zg&t=25s

nah you can see the crease here. at 3:01. it's not as visible as the huawei one but that's because there is no light directly on the screen to exemplify it.

So... never buy literally anything?

Why horizontal?
Wouldn't a vertical flip phone be better?
At least it would take less space in the pocket.

buthurt samshills the thread

Also I can't believe they released it with that tiny ass front screen. That's a much worse offense than a crease

look at this plastic crease

So, they are all shit

>tfw got this beast for less than $200
>made in japan
>Will be able to break free of google and just emulate apps on sailfish.

This
Only Chinese and fatty Walmart shoppers on disability tolerate chinknese

>Romanian 3rd worlder can't afford a real 2nd hand phone

It's the glass chin of foldable smartphones.

A plastic crease is a huge red flag, there will be so much butthurt after the consumer reviews are out it might outright kill the tech.

Cherlynn Low just marry me please

>it might outright kill the tech.
Good, it's just shitty tech, bring back phones that have a good screen and fit into your pockets easily
If I want a tablet I'll buy a fucking tablet

Why don't they make it like the phone has two halves and one half is the real phone while the other half is just an extension screen. So you can use the first half as a phone, or pop the extension into a socket on the side to double the screen. Much better solution.

If it was a a gay traps phone it would have a mans crease in the middle of the screen

Fold the wrong way too

there is

How long until we get a notch AND a fold on the same phone?

still looks better

phenomenal bait

Samsung makes bottles and jars? What's in them?

Chinks eternally btfo, mao's bootlickers on suicide watch.

Samsung damage control BTFO

A bendable screen will be plastic. There's simply no way around a crease unless they come up with stretchable screens

it folds son
what were you expecting, they can't break the laws of physics, there's gonna be a crease no matter what folding phone is

Is this actually worth looking into?
I only browse the internet with my phone

kek the creases on all the foldable phones are gonna get so fucked after 10 minutes in a pocket

Attached: 1517896697631.png (698x658, 78K)

I've been wondering how the hell anyone will be able to manufacture a case for this shit
Both sides are screens and any case designed will have to incorporate the phone opening up

Corning already have foldable glass prototypes.

Fluid screens when? Liquid can't crease.

>american burger overpays for chinese produced "assembled" elsewhere phone
