You sound like you're still in college. The thing is, the people that moderately extroverted normalfags meet while socializing are not genuine friends. They can't trust them. I have two close friends I rely on. Those are the valuable friendships, and they are the kind that an introvert can develop. Meanwhile, it's mostly introverts who get cool things done in tech.
Being an extrovert is a big advantage only if you're really good with people and look to develop valuable relationships with them. Most extroverts aren't and don't. You as an introvert can study how people think and work on the skills that make you good with people, even if you don't want to spend a lot of time with them. As I said, it is not a bad thing.
