Why pay for objectively inferior quality when you can buy proper headphones?

I already have a pair of DM6's but I'm seriously considering getting a custom set.

Attached: DM6).jpg (498x498, 55K)

Why say shit about things that you don't know when you can just neck yourself?

Attached: lookatthisfag.jpg (720x492, 26K)

Way to get memed faggot

I'm considering getting the Etymotic ER4XR. Are there any other IEM:s in that price range I should be aware of.

T2s are arriving tomorrow. Fuck lunar new years/chinese shipping. I'm p excited tho.

etymotic or else you’re a retard

Thoughts on KZ ZS5?

don't get too much hyped user
unless you're already adjusted yourself to flat signatures, it's gonna take time to truly appreciate T2s.

sibilant, though the gen1 of those are supposedly nice
just get the ZS7 if you like KZs.

I never used KZ, at the moment I have Xiaomi Hybrid.

Are FiiO 3.5mm mic+remote cables that bad?

I really want to not care but I also really need to use my phone and talk while having my IEMs plugged in.

Anyone know IEMs which would sound similar to my HD 650 and have a cable going straight down instead around the ear?

my T2s came in today
they sound great for the price, very clean. the bass might be slightly weak.
desu I gotta say they're pretty ugly though, do you guys recommend changing the cable?

GET YOUR BLUTAC READY !

did you get a free frogurt ?

then you can put blutac in the front vent to make em more niggerly [picture related]
> I gotta say they're pretty ugly though
maybe attached to your face but i find they have the cool aesthetic of a semi-automatic 45 callibre pistol
>do you guys recommend changing the cable?
NO thats a shit meme, the 3.5mm cable is great. However i use my T2 with this cheap BT cable and it sounds AMAZING.

How the fuck does anyone tolerate the vent mod more than 10 seconds holy shit. They sound like actual nigga bass and hurt your head.

Is it normal to hear so hiss from time to time? My tins sound awesome the majority of the time but in some sounds I can hear some hiss specially in the most quiet parts of a song. Is this due to the production of the albums or are my earphones defective?

Pic related is an album where I can hear hiss is some songs.

The wife just sent my week old Shanling M0 through the wash. Anyone know a good compact DAP with a proper EQ?

Yes, it's perfectly normal to hear some "hiss" because it is the noise floor, you can fix it buying those Ohm adapter.

If you spend more than 10 bucks on chink IEMs you are an autist.

zishan is a confirmed nigger

Actually Im Triple Nigger

Attached: Revonext QT2S sub-nigg-bass.png (750x749, 128K)

Noted. Are there any specific albums or genres that would compliment them well?

>Is this due to the production of the albums
Yes your hearing hiss from the master tape. Based.

its not what they cost its how many cheap pairs you meme yourself into buying instead of say one DM6

Man i sincerely hope you beat your wife.

Good news ! if your a Shanling Fag, the M1 has a 10 band EQ. [picture related]

What's some good cheap IEMs

ZSN

seconding this

Those look nice.

But should have specified, would prefer not wrapping around the ear

Why not? I've got a friend who hates those things because of bad experience with stupid fucking memory wires, but he is very comfortable with the ZSNs (because they don't really have that hard memory wire like the old KZs).

You 100% want the TRN V80. its $25 metal case, triple driver, has a mic cable option and you can reverse the connector and wear them straight down

I want something durable, are cheap ones with detachable cables actually durable?

Metal iems are bulletproof. You will not break them. Detachable cables are cheaply replaced if broken and also allow you to swap in a balanced cable or Bluetooth cable. There are 2 standards. MMCX and 2pin.

What's up ZA? What do you mean blutac?

I should've read the thread. I don't think I'll need the blutac mod but I'll have to see. Also I'm torn between getting a Benjie T6 and a Zishan Z3. Is Rockbox a meme? Is the Z3 firmware any good?

look closely at blutac has blocked the tiny front vent hole to give them niggbass as per spectrum analysis [picture related]

You always come through with the graphs but I'm a brainlet when it comes to this shit.

> under a million burgers wired flat flat flat Senileheiser

Its more than a casual observation but nearly all Sennheiser guys seem to own a pair of Etymotic EX4SR its like the kings of neutrality go hand in hand and you got the dosh go for them.

If however you want to try something chink the Nicehck DT500 is a very good very neutral 5BA unit that happens to be on sale right now for only $100 i would seriously consider it.

Bass is on the left side of the graph, from 0 to ~200. The higher the lines are on the left side of the graph, the louder the bass is in comparison to higher frequencies.

You want the Tin Audio T2 or T3. You can wear them hanging straight down if you swap the left and right connectors. Also there is a very good bluetooth module i have found for them. I own them best BT audio i have heard by far.

no big into wireless but boy that's a very aesthetic set up. looks very premium and industrial, the fact that it lacks logo or branding is the cherry on top.

I linked him the T3 dumb dumb its newer and he can afford it but for reference sake

Not him but I ordered a pair to try out. All I have right now are some cheapo earbuds that I bought on Monoprice years ago so anything will be better than that.

Do you have any recommendations for a bluetooth cable for these? I read some reviews on the TRN bluetooth cable and lots of people were complaining about it having a loud hiss so I didn't order one.

ah fair
aren't the t3/t2 pro pretty much strictly inferior though

Went with the M2s because it has physical skip, pause/play, and other buttons and an 1800mah battery. For the record the touch interface on the M0 was surprisingly responsive for something from china, especially given the size. Hopefully they replicated that magic over to the larger model.

T3 isn't inferior to T2. If anything, it's an upgrade and more normified tuning.

secondingT2 pro is straight up garbage though.

Does the BT cable have a memory wire or something like that ?

Thanks assholes for sending me some (You)s for my belt repair. The journey is over. I'll soon have end game Casette hooked up to end game chink audio and the fucking universe will implode I'm hope your happy.

YOU THINK THIS IS A FUCKING GAME ?

Attached: image.jpg (3264x2448, 1.56M)

Decent for what you pay.
Without the treble spikes it would be perfect (for a ba)

Too bad both the iem and the bluetooth cable are hot garbage

what else even comes close at this price range ?
>INB4 Muh harman curve

redpill me on t3

Got this KZ bluetooth adapter 2pin 0.75mm for TRN V80 and used with Note 9. BT hiss is horrible and gets louder as you increase volume

Attached: 20190227_111417-01.jpg (2777x2927, 1.97M)

recommend me a replacement for the t2 foam tips lads

Comply sport

Do you guys also get a small inflammation in your ears when you wear headphones?
Is there a way to reduce this?
It hurts to wear them the next few days when I get this and it happens too often.

Need to replace my dead KZ ATE. Thinking of getting a Revonext QT2s. Did I do good?

This can have a several reasons.
The tips are to big (outer diameter)
if not and you already use the smallest ones, maybe the nozzle of the in-ears is too big to fit your narrow ear canal.
I know people who get problems with 5mm nozzles, no matter if they use the smalles tips available or not.
Too thick in diameter nozzles put strain on the ear canals tissue

Usually strain on the ear canal causes the tissue to inflammate if it gets sweaty or isn't 100% properly cleaned.
Practically doing sports or wearing in-ears all day long with a too big nozzle brings these problems due to your ears sweating and stuff.
Some peoples ears don't tolerate comply foam tips and are locked to silicone ones instead.

Try out different options (smaller tips and foam and so on)
Try out different forms of tips
Try out in-ears with a thinner nozzle and different tips.
Wash your tips often (i wash mine almost every day with soap water or dish washing gel)

But let your ears heal perfectly before doing so.
Otherwise they stay inflammational no matter what.

KZ ATE, KZ ES3, both ok but not much more

Revonext QT2S, not necessary balanced, but pretty fun sounding

Thanks.
I will try other tips. I don't use the smallest ones as they fall out when I run.
I use the small ones now as they can fit into my bad ear.
I clean them often, but it makes sense that the sweat buildup is bad.
I will use a single one for a few days to see if it goes away quicker this way.

Chink ie800s arrived they're better than I expected

Nothing remarkable, just basic ones

Tin T2

Kek not even zeos"shill"pantera likes the dm6. And that Russian reviewer thinks they sound better with a cable swap(as if). Absolutely hilarious.

he clearly does know about iems though since he mentioned their two main differences from headphones, higher price and worse quality

Is this advertising?

bad

Does anyone know of a decent 2 pin (.75mm) Bluetooth cable with a mic? Preferably under $50.

Change in cable impedance can actually change sound signature in very sensitive BA iems. That's why etymotic places resistors in their cables. Also BGGAR proved that there could be a revision as his unit measures so we'll its pretty much perfect.

I got FiiO FH5 as my gateway drug into becoming an audiophile. I have also own AirPods. The FiiO FH5 sound VERY, VERY tinny. I plugged them into my XPS 13, lenovo x220, lenovo P1 and XS Max. What is wrong?

Or he got a cherrypicked sample just like those cpu&gpu reviewers that like to overclock. Either way bgvp fucked up, they should have kept the tuning of the one bggar has.

Nothing. That's what neutral sounds like. Chances are you've been used to the warm sound of consumer audio for your whole life.

I don't give a shit about music.
I'm looking for some Mission Impossible type shit where I can surreptitiously have someone feed information into my ear without the people around me knowing anything.
Price isn't a concern.
What do you guys think?

Attached: 1391863231981.jpg (1136x954, 202K)

Grow your hair out long and have it hang over your ears and people won't know you have anything in there.

I was going to do that anyway. Do the type of ear monitors I'm talking about even exist without wires?

Attached: 1391863863951.jpg (960x684, 43K)

zishan it's your chance to post that bt adapter again

Well, they make in ear hearing aids with bluetooth capabilities these days that can sync with your phone and are barely visible even without hair covering your ears. They're like $7k or more for a good set though.

so it wouldn't be a viable plan to wear something like that to a poker tournament?

Can someone recommend me a good pair for use this summer in my convertible with the top down?

They kind of need to work as ear plugs to block the wind sound, but also not block the sounds of emergency sounds and the sound of my car, which is decently loud so shouldnt be too big a deal.
They also obviously need to sound good, and especially sound good at lower volumes where the noise floor is a concern due to me being, well, driving and needing to do so safely

The one he posted earlier in the thread was MMCX only, I didn't see a 2 pin option. In hindsight I guess I should've ordered a set of MMCX IEMs because there seems to be a lot more options for cables and bluetooth accessories for them vs 2 pin offerings.

Depends on how high the stakes are and if you're allowed to keep your phone on you I guess. If the stakes are really high then I'd imagine that the consequences for getting caught cheating would be pretty severe.

but theoretically could I have somebody in a van out in the parking lot feeding me info about the deck?

I guess I could run a wire down the back of my shirt and have long hair to cover it up, but my real concern is whether there would in any interference.
Hell, they might have jammers in casinos to prevent that sort of thing.
Definitely a noob to this.

>how to get arrested

How are they gonna know?

Attached: 1366576085217.jpg (799x868, 155K)

Does anyone have any experience with these HAVIT TWS wireless bluetooth earbuds? It seems to have a lot of good reviews on Aliexpress but we all know that those reviews can't always be trusted. They're kinda pricey at $80 but if they work well then it might be worth it. Also, the carrying case is a mini-powerbank that can charge the earbuds several times without needing to be plugged into the wall which is pretty cool.
