Apple has really really decent Swift and C/C++ tooling, decent Swift libraries and still shitty objc legacy. shitty fs with fucking DS_Store (but they have a new version of FS coming)
Intel hardware is fucking crap, while their drivers and video libraries are pretty decent.
As a whole the OS is POSIX-compatible UNIX-like system, except fucking FS with retarded DS_Store of course.
Overall, it is way better than Windows and reasonably better than Linux.
