This never made any sense to me as someone with an undergrad-level knowledge of RF stuff. This is non-ionizing radiation. If you think of the RF field as similar to a 3d body of water or a container of gas, RF frequencies are just that, waves like those in a physical medium. If water or gas jiggles at the wall of a container, it doesn't affect things inside the container. Also slower and stronger waves are more upsetting to a physical environment than really small and condensed waves.

If this 'concern' had any real basis then we'd see high-wire electricians having incredibly high cancer rates since their workplace is next to far higher energy sources of non-ionizing radiation. It's true that there was a bureaucratic class exploiting workers in the USSR, but at least having a home and a stable job was guaranteed, and utilities like gas and electricity were extremely cheap. This is absolutely not the case in today's capitalism, and economists predict we will have a new financial crisis in the next few years which will ultimately make our situation even worse.

First of all, by that logic capitalism does the same thing, except it places wealth directly into the hands of the capitalists, rather than into the hands of the state. Thus, your argument is internally inconsistent unless you also oppose capitalism.
Secondly, nepotism wasn't actually that common in societies that called themselves socialist. The only one that comes to mind is North Korea.
Thirdly, most people who are socialists don't want to create another Soviet Union, and want a democratic society instead. As such, your criticism can only be valid if turned into a "if you try to implement socialism, it will always result in tyranny over the proletariat". Good luck trying to argue that.

Your statement is vague to the point of meaninglessness. They failed at reaching communism, but they succeeded in rapidly developing many undeveloped countries, and in giving their citizens a good base quality of life. By which criteria are you defining failure and success?
Besides, the overwhelming majority (if not the totality) of those deaths weren't even caused by socialism itself, but by the policies of particular leaders. It's like blaming capitalism every time a company goes broke.
