Oh good, I was just about to make one. Just got a new monitor, a 155hz/1440p/27" Dell. It's TN but has quite good color accuracy, about on par with what you'll get from any consumer IPS display. I've been using a 1080p 24" for quite a while so this is a pretty huge change, it's gonna take a while to get used to it.

Yeah, it seems pretty good so far. Only issue is the lack of a DP1.2 cable, store didn't have any in stock so I had to order one and it won't be here until tomorrow. I'm looking forward to freesync and 155hz, and maybe it was just weirdness with other monitors I've worked with but I've noticed that they looked way better through DP or DVI than HDMI for some reason.

what's a HOTAS?
the mistel barocco is great. The main reason the split is good is because you don't have to bend your wrists awkwardly, so it's ergonomic, and it also forces you to type with the correct fingers. For example, I used to always type Bs with my left hand, and now I can't do that anymore, so my typing speed ends up improving a little bit.
