Get this man an 8350, stat.

Just installed a EVGA Hybrid Kit on this 2080 Ti yesterday and it's amazing. I don't go above 55c while overclocked at all. $200 well spent.

Whats your marketshare again?

>seeks confirmation in marketshare

I want to upgrade my CPU but to do that i need to upgrade motherboard + ram
which is too expensive for me right now

If you've got a decent cooler you can overvolt it to 1.4v, put on meduim LLC if the board has it, and see how high it can go, my 8350 does 4.5GHz but just keep cranking it down 100mhz until the cores don't fail on prime if it crashes. Maybe you can get a little bit more life and save money.

I have a 120mm AIO from cooler master but no idea what is is
and i can get my CPu to 4.2 Mhz without the LLC so ill have to look into the load line calibration
(Im using the AMD overdrive software to do this)

I see that alot of anons are still using Windows 7.

I've stopped using Windows a while ago personally, but what is your guys' plan when W7 is not a viable option anymore?

I'm gonna get 8.1 till '23 and then use linux mint or some easy ass distro to shitpost on.

A seidon 120 or whatever that is is plenty for a 4.5 kc, in surprise you're only running 4.2, I use 4.5 on air

Already isn't on new hardware. No driver support.

I'm hoping that by that time there either is a viable alternative in some sort of improved version of Windows 10 (I'm not satisfied with the current offerings) or another OS (more gaming compatible Linux or something idk), or that my focus in computer usage will have shifted so that a different OS becomes a viable option. I don't expect this to become urgent anytime soon though, for example games have only just recently begun even shifting away from DirectX 9, so we'll probably be set with DirectX 11 for another while, and this is really my main concern. Software is very compatible with older hardware otherwise.

CPU sucks ass but 7970 was goat.

Sure, may as well (again).
