I'm compiling Chromium, and the processor temperature is 90 degrees Celsius right now.

Is this okay? Will my CPU explode?

>Will my CPU explode?
Nah, it'll just burn your house down.

It's 93 degrees now.

My dude you better replace the thermal paste.

RIP

Nah the temp is too low and you are risking CPU brain freeze. You need to get that puppy up to 120c at leat to prevent cold solder points.

chromium's melting point is at 1907 degrees Celcius, youre doing fine

I'm still alive, but the processor is still above 90 C

It'll throttle before it explodes. You'll be okay, but you should replace the paste.

I've compiled Chromium with portage once in my craptop. It took an afternoon.

Or stop using a Mac

Don't worry mine was 107 Celsius once and I had to use ice from then on.

I see what you did there.

put 2 scoops of ice cream on the IHS, that should keep it below 10C

>Celcius

This. Kelvin or GTFO.

Your CPU isn't compiling anything it's just trying to kill you by burning down your house. Run while you still can.

Oh boy I got some news for (You)

>Celcius
Americuck education, everyone

>building from source
why?

>not using Newton's scale of heat
He invented gravity, I'll trust his temperatures more than any other fsggot.

>calling newton a faggot
fuck you Leibniz

Leibniz was rightfully first, Newton is a faggot. He did invent gravity and I trust his temperature, but he is a faggot.

thats the google botnet installing the malware and spyware. don't worry its normal, just ignore it

Optimization.

Just boil some water with it and make a cuppa tea.

You need two CPUs
