For Verizon that's the end of this year along with their 2G service, and AT&T that's the end of next year. They're probably trying to clear out their stock for the 4G model so that they aren't stuck selling a phone that won't be usable in most of the country soon.

By the way, I should probably also specify that supposedly neither AT&T nor Verizon are even allowing new devices that don't support 4G and VoLTE to be added to their networks as of the end of last year.
