Hit play
overclock screen to 71.928 Hz
Set your refresh rate to 23.976Hz.
Acquire TV with judder-free 24p over 60p
Custom refresh rate
>thinking ~24fps content is video games and not movies.
God damn this is the stupidest thing I've seen today by a wide margin.
i think he's talking about the pic

The problem with overclocking your monitor to match the desired refresh rate is that it makes the monitor unstable and shifts the colour a whole lot.
You set your refresh rate to 23.976Hz.
I think MPC-HC has a feature to automatically set refresh rate to match the media when in fullscreen (pic related).
Good interpolation, setting the refresh rate to 24 or 48 or overclock your monitor to 72hz. However 120hz monitors are pretty nice since they can play 24fps, 30fps, 60fps and 120fps content perfectly. Personally I use interpolation in mpv for watching videos to make it look nice.
Interpolation.
Use smooth motion
Underclock your monitor to 47.952hz or overclock to 71.928 (It won't be perfectly at this refreshrate though) Your monitor colors will change if you change it refresh rate
Use reclock
Use interpolation
Freesync/G-Sync
AMD FreeSync technology
framerate too low for framesync
Get a 120 Hz screen and play it at 24. 120 is a good multiple of all the common framerates.
Besides I can never seem to get any media player to use adaptive sync. The best I've found is MPC which can set the refresh rate to match the media, but that only works if there's a standard refresh rate that matches it.
You can double the refresh rate for the same result
This.
Basically the current options are.

>Dmitry Render
>AMD Fluid Motion
>Cyberlink True Theatre
120 isnt divisble by 24 lmao moron it comes out to a odd number
What's 24*5, user?
>somehow the resulting integer number it's not divisible because odd.
Is this the power of common core?
mpv works assuming you have the right config
Which is?
eh, I suppose I can spoonfeed once in a while
vo=gpu
hwdec=d3d11va
sigmoid-upscaling=no
it works with this in mpv.conf, it might work with less lines but I couldn't be fucked to check
