It's not about the "side", as I said it does it for everyone from every side. It's about trying to avoid lawsuits about search suggestions hurting reputations.

I'm sorry but that's retarded logic, if people are searching for something, and that something is in the news, it should not be hidden to avoid lawsuits. either way that doesn't explain why only google is effected by it. IMO they should give the full unaltered suggestions (filtered for safesearch, etc) or don't give any suggestions.

all three of those examples are from foreign governments, two in europe and one in hongkong, none of that shit should have any effect on a US company serving results to US citizens. They can try to sue in the US for libel, but it's pretty hard to prove malice when you're essentially reposting what others have searched for. At this point in time its better to avoid google all together regardless of why it's happening, because the other search engines are showing more relevant results.
