Google is not paying people for the work they profit from.
Google uses many of us to do work daily and we are not being paid for it. Captcha results are being used for profit and AI development. We have received nothing for it, yet we participate in the development.
When is the class-action lawsuit for solving captchas?
What's the legal definition for volunteering in your area?
John Harris
1. No one is making you solve these captchas 2. You receive access to different websites as compensation
Jayden Howard
Clicking on the captchas without being held under gunpoint.
Alexander Flores
>not using Buster
y i k e s
Brody Morales
niggas beating toilet toilets?
Liam Fisher
>No one is making you let the guy kill you if you don't do what he wants >you receive access to life as compensation poor argument
Connor Diaz
Well this always bothered me. How do they benefit from any solved captcha if Google anyway has to check whether or not this captcha is solved correctly?
Robert Bailey
That’s right mother fucker, you are the product. You don’t get anything, but Jow Forums gets a free spam filter.
Isaac Martinez
Buster randomly stops working at times
Benjamin Torres
So you are saying there is compensation. Who decides what is fair? What if my time is worth much more than yours/
Justin Myers
Then spend it doing other things instead of posting on Jow Forums.
Grayson Cook
>Captcha results are being used for profit and AI development source?
Fraud is a de facto felony, since they are being defrauded out of the profit of their labor it is Employment Fraud. felonies do not have statutes of limitations. federal code obligates all citizens go prosecute a felony arrest when they witness a felony. felony arrests supersede the hierarchy or authority and hierarchy of supremacy of the law. Everyone who works there is in danger. I cant imagine waking up to 300 million arresting officers, every day, forever.
Carter Perez
>nah, we have enough data, we'll just not log it
Nathan Turner
>felonies do not have statutes of limitations. Your ignorance level has just been revealed.
Juan Brooks
If you used your brain for a minute you'd realize you should be more upset with the websites that use Captcha than with Google. Yes, Google runs capture, but it's just a product they are selling to websites. If you really have a problem with Captcha, you should be angry with the websites that voluntarily use it in an attempt to prevent spam that make it a viable revenue source for Google.
Jace Bell
>poor argument >barely comprehensible strawman Your scenario includes a threat of violence which is a different situation completely. Neither Jow Forums or Google is forcing or threating you in any way.
It's not about it being fair. Jow Forums has a service and they decide how they offer it. You have no right to access this website and you are in no position to decide how they distribute their content.
Charles Wood
I think they take tbe majority answer as the correct one.
Colton James
Solving a Captcha does not make you an employee so employment fraud doesn't apply.
Andrew Baker
Well, there are many reasons why it works the way it works.
First off, it's free to implement. They could charge these companies to use the service, but then the same would use free alternatives.
Then, it doesn't matter if google is "good" or "bad", they're still a company. They need to see some kind of profit out of this. They decided that the best way to do that, is to use the data that normally would go directly into the trash to make some money.
I think it's not a bad deal desu, as long as they don't start creating captchas that take more than 5 secs to solve.
Owen Wood
>I think it's not a bad deal desu, as long as they don't start creating captchas that take more than 5 secs to solve. Already done that.
