I'm partial to dental floss.
Used to really fear going to the dentist then one day I decided to start flossing every night before my nighttime toothbrushing. Never had any dental problems again - dentist just says "yep your teeth look nice and clean" and sends me on my way.
I've never tried the floss stick things.
