I’m american with municipal fiber. I pay $62 a month for symmetrical fiber gigabit. Its an introductory rate but the last two years i just called and asked them to renew it and they did. Normally it would be 100 megabit up/down for that price.
Honestly I don’t need more than 50 mbps. I could probably live with as low as 30 mpbs

Usenet is primary with torrent as last resort in my automation. It helps. Seeding is another charitable thing I partake in with all the content I'm downloading on a daily and even monthly basis.
