It's an excuse to charge even more for their processors. Don't fall for jewish tactics anons!

What kind of utterly brain-dead amoeba-tier brainless autistic cretin you have to be to buy a 7800$ Zion over a 1700$ THREADRIPPER that beats 98% of all 2S and 4S Zions out there while being much more efficient and backwards/forwards compatible at the same time, in this modern day and age? And that's not even mentioning EPYC, just the THREADRIPPER.

>cut 14nm production expecting 10nm to be out the door before long
>it doesn't
The correct question to ask is why heads aren't rolling at Intel yet. This is epic proportions mismanagement.

>epyc
Fixed your mistake.

Thank goodness this corrupt piece of shit of a company is dying.

That pic's too old (it was made in Skylake times). We need a fresh update.

Кaк тaм, в 2014-м?

How is it there, in 2015?

attempting to stick to provided timeframe, because glassdorites with employer grievances from half a decade ago are relevant af, obv. Still, when AMD shill, the present cant be pleasant

>when AMD
>present can't be glorious
It's fucking AMAZING right now, you dimwit. Literally THE best timeline. Even fucking BETTER THAN/SURPASSING K6~K8 days.

Imagine if we get 7nm parts before a proper 10nm release.

Attached: ojACCWn.png (727x727, 36K)

Zen 2 RyZen 3xxx is June and July, THIRDRIPPER (official name that's AMD going to use, BTW) and first Navi are October. Inturd's 10nm is no earlier than mid-2020.

Intel is still in Skylake times and I'm still in Sandy Bridge times

Intel's 10nm is comparable to the 7nm AMD uses.

Still a step back for them.

Attached: hc2qg3guy0311.png (1364x767, 52K)

you forgot higher is better

Funny thing is I know for a fact they won't have 14 10 or 7nm supply issues worked out until 202x possibly later.
They are truely fucked

>company has no values
"People first, products and profit will follow!"
- Walter Jeremiah Sanders III
"Shareholders first, and idiots will still buy!"
- Every intel CEO
>a number of very good individual contributors
well, amd has experts in memories, GDDR design and HBM
amd has/had the best CPU design team
just check AMD64, K6, K7, Athlon x2, CPU interconnects
amd has the best GPU team, designing the most versatile gpu arch so far(that's not always a good thing though)
amd has the most advanced packaging line, the only one yet to deliver mass producing mcm CPUs, GPUs
>poor leadership
I don't see what's wrong with leadership. By deliberately not using dirty tactics to gain market share, fake results and get partnerships, doesn't make you a bad leader.
Ruiz was a great leader, getting ATi.
Meyer foresaw the fusion of CPU+GPU in one unified accelerator
Read steered Bulldozer to the right direction, so as not to be a complete failure, gained great contracts on opteron from companies like Cray, made AMD a custom asic designer, partnered with MS and Sony and took over the console market. Finally Read hired Jim "The KIKERIPPER" Keller, who started designing Zen as early as 2012 and finally put Lisa "Mommy" Su.

AMD did had one bad Idea that costed the company a few years in debt and bad sales.

>sack 1/2 the managers
Read reduced the operating cost of the company, so the company can survive. Laying off people in the middle of bad sales and strategy changing in order to avoid bankruptcy, is what gave us AMD today.

>cons: there's no HR department
That's a pro fagget.

you can't compare 7nm to something that doesn't exist.

>That's a pro fagget

>Intel is still in Sandy times
Fixed your mistake.

Dude, you're LITERALLY trying to argue/respond to a pasta from mid-2015.

intel is still in skylake times LOL

The best timeline is the one where Intel gets dissolved.

delid dis

So, like, RIGHT NOW.

Can't wait for them to Conroe your ass with 3D stacked CPUs.

>3D stacked
>puts RAM on top, literally deliberately making a greenhouse
>ass
The only ass that's going to be BTFO'd is Inturd's CEO's.

Attached: 1551788200940.jpg (778x960, 123K)

anons happy refuting away, just you leave him alone

haha t-that's nothing, goy

So basically Intel still offers the highest-performing CPUs.

make my post a pasta or a .webp, so that I don't have to write it again.

It's a good timeline but the BEST timeline is the one where Bulldozer didn't exist and we had Phenom III instead

Phenom III actually existed...in internal labs. And it was shown to be utter garbage (worse than Faildozer) due to them already hitting solid wall with Phenom II X6. They HAD TO make shit from scratch, because Phenom couldn't continue further. It was fucking done for.

It's VERY afraid, folks.

Attached: 1533901898627.jpg (401x271, 25K)

Proof?

Didn't you watch/listen to Next HoriZen presentation?

Attached: INTURDED.png (732x312, 1.75M)

I was shocked as shit Cisco picked them up for a UCS line. I thought for sure they were vendor locked to Intel.

With Intel defeated, maybe AMD will eventually defeat Nvidia too in the GPU market

Why do you people hate jewish lies and propaganda, corruption and bribes so much? :(

intel shills are literally paid to make those posts. they arent even subtle about it.

a 32nm Phenom III with modern instructions would've still be better than Bulldozer even if it hit wall at 4GHz

It wasn't a frequency wall which engineering samples of Phenom III hit in the labs, but IPC walls and power/heat envelope walls due to tech-process and lithography limitations at the time. The shit was literally done. Absolutely juiced to the end, with Phenom II X6 1100T. They PHYSICALLY couldn't go any further with that architecture, hence why Phenom III never got out of the labs. It was doomed.

But it doesn't make any sense, Phenom II already had better IPC than Bulldozer, they just had to add the missing instructions to it. All your information sounds like stuff pulled straight outta ass.

>Phenom II already had better IPC than Bulldozer
Bulldozer was developed AFTER they've seen that they can't do jack shit with Phenom III. Literally the ONLY two reasons why Fauildozer turned out so abysmal that even Phenom II X4 955 kicked it's ass, was strictly ONLY due to the inane FPUALU pseudo-core approach AND due to the fact no software was ready/be able to utilize the benefits of new HSA standards, which, OBVIOUSLY, schmucks which were governing AMD back at that time, didn't foresee at all. NO ONE could predict that entire FX platform would be such garbage.

50% market share in enterprise HERE WE COME.

>80% market share in enterprise, 85% market share in gaymen PCs by 2022
Fixed your mistake.

Factor in that PS5 and Xbox2 will be Zen2 8c/16t parts and their successors are basically going to be Zen and Zen's successor forever.

>more performance
>more value
>but not more efficiency
Nobody cares, nobody will care

Considering that Nintendon't was also long-time partner of AMD and ATi since as far back as Super Famicom (or maybe even FDS, I don't remember well), I think they've fully realized by now what a huge mistake they did when they decided to go with garbage shit that is noVideo Tegra X1, this time around. Very likely that their next iteration of Switch, or a next gen in overall, will be using and AMD APU.

Sure, Intbecile, sssuuuuurrrrreee:

based

They'd have to be clinically retarded not to use Zen2 8core chiplet, 7nm will make Zen even more efficient

It's Nintendo so I'm not gonna hold my breath

The tegra is the only off the shelf part available for Nintendo's intended power/performance envelope for the Switch. Similarly its why - right now - only AMD has the required IP's and design knowledge to build an APU with enough performance to fit into a home console. Not that Nvidia will ever get another console contract from sony or MS again after the shit they've pulled.

Is AMD ever gonna take the housefires crown from Intel? That 1770w chiller stunt was a fucking absolute SHITSHOW
