I use and like it. I use Quant Lite. It gives me better results than DDG.
I love searX, but sometimes Google blocks it and you only get results from the other search engines, which is pretty annoying.

Qwant is pretty decent, but i still often have to use Google because Qwant (or any of the other alternatives really) just have no fucking clue what i'm after
Google has an obvious algorithmic edge and no other player can compete, it's a fact

I'm really enjoying Qwant (the not lite version), even though the results aren't as pertinent as Google I think it'll come around eventually as more people use it.

Half the internet has no discernible value and it should be possible to search outside of it for speed and accuracy. Debate me.

If they post clickbait they get blacklisted and you always have the option of doing a full search if you don't find what you want

I don't, I have all the sites I need bookmarked and any ones I find I write down on a VIM window I always have open with a specific document, it's pretty efficient and keeps the botnet out
