I'm looking for an MP3 that is somewhat water proof and rugged. Something I can take with me in the woods and drop without having to worry about it breaking.
I want it to be able to hold a lot of music and be able to sort through it without to much of a problem. Size is not of any particular importance.
I been meaning to ask you guys, does sansa clip+ plays High definition audio? Or should i buy a more expensive device like sony45 for better quality? Sorry im a noob
>rockbox does this work on everything? it doesn't say that mp3 player is supported on their site
Liam Bailey
just use your phone
Michael Morgan
>does this work on everything? no >it doesn't say that mp3 player is supported on their site nigger it's the first thing on their site
Jordan Richardson
Just use your phone and stop thinking carrying an MP3 player around is going to get you laid or something. You probably only listen to anime and video game soundtracks as it is.
Carson Lewis
what do you mean by high definition audio? dsd/dsf? if so then no

not op... BUT >most phones have shit DACs, unlike even cheap mp3s have >if you use your phone it's going to drain battery fast even without playing music >music wastes a lot of space on mobile, wheres for mp3s you can just fill it to brim with music and not give a single fuck about inventory management >>my shitty samsung can take only 128 GB cards and 81 of those go on music alone... it's not even the entirity of my library >>>vast number of that music falls into "192 kbps grind" which takes minimal space, yet my cards filled to brim >>>>it might make sense to buy a second phone... but vast majority of mp3s are way cheaper if you have up to 16 or even 32 gigs of music on your person phone is okay way to go, more than that (and especially for above 64 gigs situations) it just makes more sense to buy a cheap mp3 and roll with it

For me it's not even the quality meme, you're outside anyway. Using a phone fucking sucks because you're limited to prev/play/next unless you unlock the phone, also they're way bigger than the average DAP.

Ye and you can get 400gb micro SD cards for cheap now.
How the fuck do you not remember scrolling through these things song by song before >muh ipod allowed you to choose which song you wanted instantly. I thought that was the shit when I was a kid.
Jace Rogers
earliest mp3 player i had was ipod nano 2nd or 3rd gen

What would be the benefits of buying an MP3 player as opposed to just using your phone?

>bluetooth only can I get this item but with a 3.5 connection?
Jonathan Perez

I was thinking of ordering a mrobo c5 v2 after ~2y of no music player. Have to reenter society again soon, and I think electricity and entertainment are cheaper than constantly replenishing earplugs
Angel Allen
>bluetooth only what? different firmware and more expensive you can flash a benjie t6 with the agptek rocker firmware (and you have to before rockboxing) by changing the version time stamp in the firmware iso
