best itx case coming through
ITX
That's been modded to hell and back doe
Too big. ATX psus are not size efficient too.
that case is for sfx
That's an SG08, supports ATX PSUs by default
sugo sg08 bros
i have a GTX 1070 now and a noctua CPU cooler but everything else is the same
yea used to hav one of these mad kunts on the dairy farm but sold it to me mates grandma so she can play games n shit
What i've currently been working with. Also have an Ncase and SG13. I have some interest in the SM550 and Sidearm, but we'll see.
I recently flipped the gpu fans though since i've been testing Exhaust vs Intake. Just haven't updated the photo.
>I recently flipped the gpu fans though
Not surprised. Positive pressure is better 99.99% of the time.
*blocks your path*
every case with a retarded manufacturer logo is shit tier
I'm pretty happy with my Dan A4 (need a new GPU tho), though i am looking at a new project for a HTPC build. Right now my top options are Streacom F1C or F7C and the Lazer3D HT5.
Kinda wish the HT5 had an option for the power button on the front however.
Wrong
>looks like a remote controlled submersible.
I like it
More companies need to adopt SFX, it makes so much more sense than ATX bricks in modern cases.
Why not the SG05 though? In what scenario is no front fan better than front fan?
>Mini-ITX cases
>mum wont let me own a tower
lmao enjoy retards
that just looks like shit brother
I fell for the itx meme. They're a bitch to work on and you're limiting yourself to 2 or 3 decent psu if you go sfx.
>best itx
That's like saying best shitlog
It's still just a shit
>cooling your GPU with white power
Who's mum would forbid buying a tower? Doesn't seem like something mums would concern themselves with.
so mITX is purely about looks?
I'd go itx for a compact home server which is big enough for quieter cooling but small enough to stash somewhere, the user you're replying to is probably
What's a cyberpunk mini itx case
Isn't it a mess to do cable management on that?
For me the best ITX case would look good inside and outside, along with being good with thermals without having to rely on liquid cooling or stuffing the whole thing with fans. Which would make the case bigger, which seems like a stupid thing to do for mini ITX, but I bet it can be done while still being smaller than the average micro ATX or ATX case.
Thinking about working in the Fractal Design - Core 500
No yeah usually. Was just testing as I got(and most other)better temps having the Fans set to Exhaust in the Ncase. That was with full size A12x25 sterrox fans though.
What are your plans? It's on the big side as far as Sff cases go, but it can fit an NH-D15. If you're planning on going with a smaller cooler, consider another case.
Thanks for posting this, I was on the lookout and didn't know about the company that makes the HT5.
Their CG7 Cravo is a real beauty, I'll probably get this.
That is exactly why I'm going for this case. Enough space to fit larger gpu's too. Also considering removing the front cover and the drive bay cover. I'll replace it with a brushed aluminum cover I'll cut myself or dark wood cover.
I mean it's alright, but it's like the same size as some mATX cases. There's no point to it.
That sounds badass man. Hopefully you post it in a guts thread when you finish it.
I had an ITX build for 6 months or so, and i switched to Matx later.
I can never go back to ITX now. ITX is purely for eye candy. The functionality is OK but even a midtower is likely to have better cooling potential.
tldr: ITX is only good for looks
Definitely will do. Thanks
Not with that you won't. Good luck buying it anywhere.
>horizontal mobo
trash
Elite 130 coming through
Ncase
>pick AMD APU for $80
>cheapest mITX AM4 mobo is $110
Nice form factor fagits
Your mum sounds like a class act
Big towers are ugly after all, she knows it
>Elite 130
That case 'feels' too big, especially if you don't have an optical drive. All the stuff is crammed at the back and there's an unused void in the front.
I sold mine for an SG08
Can sugo SG05 fit rx580?
Elite 110.
I actually like the look of the SG05 better than the SG08.
> no USB-C on front panel
Dropped
Ncase.
What's the deal with zoomers buying eight feet wide "muh minimalism" desks to put a monitor, a keyboard, a mouse, a headset and a tiny computer on it? You have tons of space, you don't have to cram the computer into a tiny space, why are you limiting yourselves artificially like this?
I'm the only person you'll find with a good reason. Because boutique cases which are limited to the SFF niche happen to not be affected by all the terrible industry trends. They're just the only nice cases on the market.
Oh, desks. I answered cases.
Honestly, i'd be really into something like a Cryorig Taku if was a little shorter (say 25cm deep) and a lot cheaper.
Vertical airflow cases are sexy. Too bad there aren't that many of them.
Completely lost here, because all the cheap cases have some bullshit design choices.
What would be a small case that:
>fits a reasonably tall tower cooler
>fits a short GPU
>fits an ATX PSU
>doesn't do the "PSU pulling air from inside the case" bullshit, that always results in the PSU fan revving up like a lawnmower
>costs around $50?
>want MITX case
>limited to 8.25 inches wide
>every inexpensive MITX case starts at 8.75 inches
>Vertical airflow cases are sexy
AND expensive
Thermaltake Core V1 is the only one that comes into mind.
PSU is below the MB and takes air from under the case. CPU Cooler clearance is 140mm and GPU 255/285mm.
>tfw a case is more expensive than your CPU
weirdly sexy but the cooler is wrong way on the CPU, too bad there isnt any room left to mount it the right way
Oh yeah, so it is. Maybe the heat pipes could point at the back? I can't tell if theres's space for that either.
Also
>completely open 'case'
>power switch cable is blue and white
there's a chinese knockoff of this case on taobao called the loli itx
>bumps the case by accident like you would a bottle of water
>it falls on its side and the glass breaks
I use the front for cables and storafe. I am thinking of getting an sff PSU and a card reader for the bay
Micro ATX master race coming through
>CPU Cooler clearance is 140mm
That's a bit cramped for a tower cooler, isn't it? Most of the towers with 120mm fans are in the 150-160mm range.
Does anyone know if it is possible to get Molex connectors with screw connectors on the end.
So that I can get the optimal wire-length for any purpose. It would also make it redundant to have 6+ small 12V wires going to the graphics card, since I could just use thicker solid core wire.
My current attempts has been to just solder onto the connectors. But that is hard to get solid.
Wtf you spastic it isn't made out of milk bottles.
geeek has a bunch of cases that are cheap and tiny
what the fuck
That's an internet joke. I'm sorry if that offended you.
Is that as loud as I imagine it to be ? It looks incredible.
>DirectCUM
The next step up is Core V21 then. Similar cube, but µATX also and fits 185mm cooler inside. mITX cases typically don't fit a full size tower cooler inside due to wanting to be small. Getting too huge would defeat the purpose of the size factor.
That being said there are still several tower coolers around the 120-140mm height range, some even with 120mm fans.
>loli itx
Normally in a Molex connector. The wire is crimped to the connector.
But I want to know if the crimp-part could be changed to a screw-terminal, in a "finished product" way so I don't have to hack something big and ugly together.
technically it's called the X1, made by Loli Studios...
c-cute
>a-am I kawaii? uguuu~
This but with a horizontal cube case for superior air dissipation (also usually two cubes can stack under a desk and take up little more space than an ATX tower).
Muh boi
okay Jow Forums riddle me this:
is there a case that's small, looks good, has space for a full-size graphics card AND an optical drive?
>The M1 with an Optical Disk Drive Slot on the Top Panel have been discontinued.
Damn. You're out of luck.
lol that monitor stand is offensive.
I sent it back. It had other problems out of the box
unknown case reporting
that build quality looks better than a real ghost s1 desu.
worst itx case coming through
>mITX case
>exterior dimensions of a roomy mATX case
apparently going to be sold for 250 in limited run
why do I want this so bad ?
It's gonna look much worse with half a dozen wires dangling off the back.
I get a good laugh out of cuckshed builds.
>OG Sugo 4lyf
>mITX
>5.25" drive bay
>I/O on the side
why are case manufacturers so fucking stupid
at least they released an mATX version
it's 2019, there's no point in massive dick compensator towers anymore
SLI/crossfire has been worthless for a decade, optical media is dead, and NAS boxes are cheap
you just end up with a big empty box
I have that in white. Not disappointed with it at all but it's kinda heavy. I stuffed in a psu larger than necessary so that might be why too
Bitfenix Prodigy was babby's first mITX case. Half of the people on Jow Forums had one when it was first released.
No, quieter than stock.
Good luck finding the version with the optical slot though.
That's sharkoon qb one
