In this case, Qualcomm was justified. Qualcomm charges a percentage of the device msrp for their patent instead of a flat fee so smaller manufacturers can compete. Apple prices their shit phones for absurd profit margins then claims it's unfair that Qualcomm wants the cut that they agreed to.
