Same battery life as day one almost a decade later, no replacements required, not even so much as an unexpected shutdown

why can't all smartphones be more like the Nintendo 3DS?

is satania ok? the bot isnt even replying to the right threads

I really hate these types of white people

>insanely smooth performance; not even a single dropped frame, ever
Try playing some new pokemon games

I really hate white people

>Wireless charging
>This meme again

when someone claims the iPhone X started the notch trend, others love to jump onto the "ESSENTIAL PHONE DID IT FIRST" bandwagon, but then as soon as a notch is referred to as a bad thing, suddenly it's "iTODDLERS BTFO"

why is this?

OP has a point
Why do smartphones have so much shit only to lag, have a battery that dies, overheat, and be full of bloatware?

I love how the 3DS' wireless charging is so fast and yet creates basically no heat. How the fuck did they do it? How come the rest of the smartphone industry STILL hasn't caught up, 8 years later?

Bcoz they try to be multitasking.

>terribly unergonomic and a huge pain in the ass to handle compared to the DS lite which came earlier due to some retarded decisions
>screams under the weight of loading anything on its simple as fuck OS
>is blown out of the water performance-wise by the vita
>almost no games on it even use the dual screens and no one uses the 3D, making the tradeoffs for the above note laughable as it troddles along on hardware that was beyond shitty when it came out much less right now
Thank god nothing tries to copy the 3DS.

You shouldn't, specially if you're one.
But you're allowed and recommended to hate all millenials.

iPhone ripped off from essential phone and made the thing popular. Also, what's an essential phone?

Doesn't have wireless charging. Literally pins on the stand.
>same battery life as day one almost a decade later
Only because you don't use it often so it doesn't go through charge cycles like a phone does.
>never breaks a sweat, doesn't even get slightly warm
Because of how low power the processors in it are.
>insanely smooth performance; not even a single dropped frame, ever
A flagrant lie, but even then it only aims for 30fps.

>Doesn't have wireless charging. Literally pins on the stand.
Welp, those aren't wires, nor are they any kind of port that you have to plug in, so it's wireless.

Qi:
>drop device onto pad
>device starts charging

Cradle:
>drop device onto cradle
>device starts charging

Same difference.

Fuck off with that shit. You know the technology is different.

Essential phone didnt get btfo'ed cuz it was trying a new thing prior unseen. They had no way to see how good/bad it was
Applel tried to cash in on what they taught was a neat gimmick.
Also IOS
BTFO

Wrong
Gpd xd

the worst part of it all, it didn't come with an alarm clock app like the DS Lite did. I remember having to charge my Lite just so I could wake up for school... and I didn't want to buy one from the eshop because my mom was paranoid about credit card theft

Too much effort. Nintendo has to approve every game. Back in the NES age it wouldn't publish your game if it crashed even once during their testing, don't know about their current standards but probably strict as fuck as well.

Using pins is not wireless. By that logic your motherboard is able to wirelessly power your CPU.
Nintendo approving a game isn't much more than slapping their sticker on it.

>complaining about video game shit on Jow Forums
fuck off

>insanely smooth performance
>mgs3

heheh

But I'm sorry, no. I have one right here and it has one of the biggest oversights of all time: the lower screen bezels scratch the upper one. I guess it's because I bought it at launch, but still.

to this day my 13 years old DS lite is still kicking it, battery life is still astounding. i bought another ds for 20 bucks just in case but i think this console will outlive me.
HOW DID THEY DO IT ?

>no pictochat
DROPPED

wait, what pokemon game is that?

My sides. pictochat was based tho

>same battery life as day one
Seems like someone didn't update their system to version 11.x

As a white person, me too user. Me too.

3ds have wireless charging now? when was that put out?
3ds's are fucking amazing I am a fumbling retard and drop my system all the time, never broke it
the touch screen works better then my phone
I play with the lighting way low but the battery lasts the whole day even if I am playing almost the whole time
you can watch vr porn on it
HUGE selection of games plus the whole ds library plus the e-shop that I don't use because I hate anything that's not a physical copy's but still

I wish Nintendo made phones I would snatch that up

>Not a single dropped frame
>Massive monster from Dragon quest monsters Terry's wonderland stands in your way
>Go from 30fps to 5fps
Nothin' personal kid.

>same battery life as day one almost a decade later, no replacements required, not even so much as an unexpected shutdown
False
>never breaks a sweat, doesn't even get slightly warm
>has a stylus
>no notch
True
>insanely smooth performance; not even a single dropped frame, ever
lol no XY ORAS and SM all lag at less that 30fps no game runs 60fps
>has wireless charging
False

>almost no games on it even use the dual screens
your kidding right

yea no, what happens when i put it in the stand upside down ?

Low voltage li-ion degrades much slower than those used in 'smart'phones

Nintendo sells games. The hardware is just a platform to sell games. Nintendo also takes a lot of pride in their reputation and designs rock solid hardware.
The phone manufacturers make money selling you phones. They don't give a shit. They just want you to buy a new $1,000 phone in 1-2 years so they have no thoughts towards longevity. They are interested in adding a few more marketable features, making the screen a bit bigger, and then selling you another phone you don't really need.
There are great phones out there. You just have to look in the mid-end. Motorola makes some phones designed to last for a very long time for reasonable prices.
