Wtf? Has this happened to anyone else? I uninstalled chrome months ago because I know google is just harvesting all data.
Literally all I have done since turning on my computer is browse the chans, then a window popped up saying "your set-up is nearly complete, choose your default browser" and I saw that Chrome was suddenly on my computer. FUCK GOOGLE.

I've run chrome portable installs, but it still "installs" itself into my appdata, updates itself, and adds a shortcut to my start menu.

Yes, when I got shitware from somewhere. Boot up a live system (hiren or similar) and do a through malware/spyware/adware/ransomware scan.
