I'm guilty of these. I swear I'll switch over to Gentoo + dwm when I have time.

this response is honestly more reddit than even those three things
you can use arch and i3 and not be guy in OPs pic, but the fact that you are interested in switching over to something that some anonymous retards on the internet approve more of shows that youre onions

S o y b o y s are Mac users, let's be honest.
What you've listed is the standard for highschoolers on r/unixporn.
>[i3 gaps] [polybar] My first rice!!!!1!1!
I use dwm, st and dmenu. I know Suckless is a massive meme but it's a genuinely comfy setup, would recommend.

I do want to get rid of omz, it's bloated and unacceptably slow. What's a good alternativr?

thinking about switching to polybar, as i3blocks doesnt support multiple font selection.
unless somebody knows another bar with that functionality.

Yeah, just like you and me

I don't get the DWM usage vs i3

I only heard DWM is "automatic" while i3 is manual

long long onions;

in dwm the layout is pre-determined, when you open a new window it opens in the next position in the layout.
in i3 you first select where the window will open, and then you open it, which is more steps to perform for the user, both mentally and physically.
personally I'll stick with i3 until wayland is more mature and has more tiling options.

Jesus christ, these are the people that are posting on Jow Forums.
Please fuck off and never come back.

this, what a retard. feeling like he has to fit to be known by the hacker known as Jow Forums
>dwm uses wayland
I only use urxvt because it's actually good, I tried to stick with only gnome programs but the gnome terminal doesn't use the colors you set in the settings, it's stupid. ls, vim, etc don't use them, I don't know how to set them since there is no documentation.
