I think that tool is no longer being actively developed as noted by the original developer on MDL forums. If you're trying to activate 1809 (fall 2018 release) then it'll have issues. Use a newer activator forums.mydigitallife.net

Look for hwid kms38 on nsane forums.
Hwid create a legitimate permanent activation. For ltsc, kms38 will activate until 2038.

SppExtComObjHook and scripts/repacks of it like suggested don't use services, tasks, drivers, or network.
They register themselves as autostart Debugger for the activation process.
Whenever windows decides to activate itself, it starts the registered debugger, which spawns the actual activation process, and injects its emulator

that is not possible. kms activation is for enterprises with upto thousands of offline machines. The specifics or implementations may change but the methods will stay the same.
