I've heard that the nVida ones are doomed to failure from GPU heat cycling causing cracks in the solder. It's a shame that Dell never had a recall (to my knowledge). Luckily, mine has Intel graphics.

Mine is still working just fine, apart from the BSODs, which were almost non-existent on XP. As far as understand the problem was in the GPU chip itself, and nothing to do with the solder. nVidia did fix the problem later on, but I'm also unaware of a recall.

Can one change the window decoration in win10? I used TrueTransparency in XP and 7 which worked great, but it doesn't work well at all on 10. Im looking for a replacement, preferably open source or freeware, that doesn't involve having to fuck the registry.

That's one way to prevent cluttering, i usually create somekind of folder structure on another drive as soon as i have 2-3 files that belong to the same general topic

Another way is make a folder for relevant file types. Then do move *.jpg *.png *.tiff *.gif pictures

I'm not against having some things on your desktop but a picture that you downloaded somewhere around the 1930's era that you just stored to the desktop as a temporary place to then use one time does not belong on the desktop forever. In his case, the 20 python scripts with minecraft in the caption could just maybe, maybe be moved to a directory that is called, well, i dont know, minecraft scripts instead of sitting on the desktop to be ignored.
