Fuck off joey

Is it possible to make non-table view of message list? This awful list the only reason i stay with roundcube webmail.

"Simple Mail" extension for firefox on main computer;
Sylpheed on laptop.

I use KMail because it works best with my Desktop Environment, Plasma.

Microsoft Outlook

mutt - based and redpilled

For me it's the Baconator™

For me, it’s the McChicken. The Best Fast Food Sandwich.

outlook 07 in wine on linux
outlook 13 on wangblows
it just werks :^)

Also Thunderbird. It's ugly and unsatisfying to use, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Clawsmail, formerly sylpheed

The Google app on my phone.

KMail

>if it ain't broke, don't fix it
>use Thunderbird since way back before Mozilla didn't turn into the utter shitfest it is now
>it werks
>have brainfart one day and let it update to the latest greatest
>minimize to tray option gone
>plugins broken
>truckloads of other assured bullshit
Motherfuckers are out to destroy everything that was ever good in tech. Every fucking thing.
I'll need to get back to Sylpheed one of these days. I used it on
gentoo
with my
k6-2
in
2002
, it was good, probably still is more so than TB.

clawsmail because it just works and thunderbird is a clusterfuck
I wanted to use emacs but mbsync was way too fucking annoying to setup and offlineimap sucks

all mail clients are shit, it's a sad state of affairs

Sylpheed

I just go to protonmail.

mutt, pine, or alpine?

Claws Mail

Thunderbird which i tested recently is slow and heavy on my machine.

I use neomutt + offlineimap, thank you based GNU/lukedaddy

>I use KMail
How often does it blow up?
I have never come across a mail client with a worse reputation than KMail and the hostile attitudes of the developers does not fill me with confidence either.

Claws mail.

Too brainless for mutt.

I use OP's pic related.

nano

i manually read the files on the /var/mail/ using ssh.
(((((Mail Clients))))) are just botnet and bloat

Mailspring

based and ill

God, thunderbird is a broken piece of shit.
I try it every few years on different distributions and computers and it always fails to properly serve as a mail composer.
It's the only client that silently sends mails in the middle of writing emails without a confirmation. I don't even touch the mouse while at it and it seems to register double press on enter as "send without telling that asshole". So i have sent around ten incomplete drafts to various companies without realising at first. Of course some of them stopped being customers after that.

Fuck thunderbird and fuck mozilla.

I liked neomutt a lot too. It's very out-of-your-way.

btw, KMail doesn't have this problem.

I would like to know too.

Outlook or emclient.

Why Postbox on windows of course.

Mail.app

I use Thunderbird because whenever I get a new machine or reformat I just have to backup the Thunderbird folder and that's it. With Outlook it wasn't that easy.. at least back then.

"Kmail problems" has 81000 hits on Google.
"Kmail corruption" has 19000 hits, many from 2019.
It seems the KDE gang has successfully suppressed reports on the problems, a lot of problem discussions I found earlier have been excised.

>It seems the KDE gang has successfully suppressed reports on the problems
Not so sure about that, I see a lot of KDE users saying that Kmail is shit.
I like KDE too and prefer to use Thunderbird on Linux, more of fear of Kmail shitting the bed tho, haven't used it enough to have problems myself.

>I see a lot of KDE users saying that Kmail is shit.
I know but there is a lot of internal push back. What I meant was that they had successfully suppressed it as in not appearing easily on Google. Effectively they have swept the elephant under the carpet.
>I like KDE too
So do I, and I use Kubuntu.
>and prefer to use Thunderbird on Linux, more of fear of Kmail shitting the bed tho, haven't used it enough to have problems myself.
Email is one of my main tools. I cannot afford KMail rampaging through my archives, corrupting them silently until it blows up. It is a shame really since KMail is one of the few that (attempts to) support email annotations and that I really need.

notmuch-emacs

>How often does it blow up?
I can't say honestly because It's not like I use it daily, I'm not on my email too often.

But when I do need it, it works just fine syncing and grabbing details. Works as I need it to.

I wouldn't cry if I couldn't use it though.

I've never heard of any of these issues, probably because I haven't researched into it.

Honestly, I'd probably be happier using a browser than an actual client.

I've got so many emails that I choose to just use chrome

i use thunderbird though i consider using sylpheed cuz it seems lighter than thunderbird.

mu4e

I honestly wish more email clients were laid out like gmail. All the standard ones have a layout that makes it borderline impossible to read, and I really don't want to use gmail

What's an email provider that wont shut down your account no matter what and that isn't going to die within a year?

self-hosted
there is ZERO guarantee that any service will survive for an extended period of time

I use to have the opposite problem where it didn’t send any emails at all. Thankfully I was only an undergraduate at the time but I’ve never used thunderbird after that.

Whatever webmail client the provider has. It's fucking email, who gives a fuck.
