Nothing too huge where the donation would be a drop in a bucket, but nothing that'll be abandoned in a year.
A few:
Libreboot
KDE
LineageOS
GIMP
Inkscape
Krita
Belnder
OSM
Openvpn
Sailfish
Openbsd

Donating to anything going under GNU GPL is literally like donating to cancer, it spreads just like cancer even to places noone wants it in.

Why is that?
How does this work?
Added.
Gnome
GPL is Chad license
BSD is cuck license
All rights reserved is slave license
Gentoo Foundation
Nouveau. Their contribution is huge and harder to accomplish than most other projects.
>Why is that?
Dunno, ask GNUtards why they take non-gnu code, modify it just to slap gnu onto it so whoever made it originally can't benefit from any possible future improvements to it without contracting gnu disease themselves.
Isn't that just a byproduct of trying to prevent people from converting a FOSS project to a proprietary license?
BSD license allows this and it benefits corporations more than FOSS devs.
>libreboot
Why not coreboot?
Libre allows less prop blobs than coreboot.
>Sailfish
You literally might as well wipe your ass with the money.
They have failed every project they shut out, and the system is STILL not ported to anything except a shitty two-year old Sony midranger.
t. >proud owner of the original Jolla
It depends on how jew is the corporation
NetApp actively contributes to FreeBSD development
True, but there is no viable mobile OS alternative now. Have to support the only thing in the market.
How about Sony? They used BSD for the PS4 drivers/OS(?) but I believe it was more of a windfall for Sony than the community.
That said, they do participate in FOSS projects like Sailfish, as another user said, and contribute massively to AOSP.
What percentage of you yearly income do you donate?
I'm just a student in east europe so I barely make anything, but i'd like to support some devs who are in similliar positions and would appreciate the 'cup of coffee'
I can agree, it's painful.
I really wanted to see Ubuntu OS in action, the phone working like a Switch sounded like a nice gimmick.
Why did Firefox OS even die in the first place?
Matrix
LineageOS
ENIGMA
Tiled
KeePassXC
LiberaPay
Nintendo switch also uses bits of bsd
I'm standing neutral on this, as long as it's transparent, it's not an evil product
Probably 2-4% gross. Hope to do a lot more once I'm in a good position.
Let me know if you have a project or two I can donate on your behalf.
Perhaps FFOS was too ambitious with their "HTML5 everywhere" concept.
Don't want to Jinx it, but the Purism thing is our only other hope.
Only heard about enigma through Jow Forums, but isn't the concept supposed to be a bit spotty?
>isn't the concept supposed to be a bit spotty
Could you elaborate?
Honestly can't remember, but Jow Forums was complaining how the system has flaws and privacy could still be compromised, etc.
>listening to Jow Forums
>OpenVPN
>Libreboot
>LineageOS
hahaha no, pieces of crap
I think we are talking about different projects. This is ENIGMA, a game development engine and compiler: github.com
It's a GPLv3 clone of Game Maker 8.1. It transpiles GML into C++.
ReactOS/Wine
>Inkscape
>GIMP
Those will never be commercially competitive tools unless there's billion dorrar all of a sudden dumped in them. Krita and Blender at least seem somewhat competently made and managed.
Ah, I was talking about some tor alternative thing.
I'd rather contribute to a full blown virtualization solution(eg. KVM) than Wine, but they're all huge projects which don't seem to accept/require donations.
>Transmission
>handbrake
I donate to ardour and the EFF.
Thank you.
This.
any good android foss calculator?
Equate
and trannies?
Are there more FOSS hardware projects, eg. Arduino?
Haiku could always do with some money. They're also really transparent about what they use it on, and they usually use it to pay people to work on good stuff.
ReactOS.
Anything that will help the development move faster.
No license or BSD license are the only acceptable options.
>in beta for 19 years
godot engine
Added. Really hope it dominates at least the phone gaming industry.
>i want to believe
