>64GB RAM
why

i use this for machine learning and bioinformatics work. the latter requires a lot of RAM for doing shit with the genome.

anyone know why it saya the CPU temp is that high? it really isn't.

Attached: file.png (1140x1023, 189K)

36 degrees Celsius isn't high.

The CPU is actually a 2700x, Pinnacle Ridge 12nm etc. No idea why speccy would say it is Summit Ridge.

140W 45nm housefire coming thru.

Need to upgrade ram.

Oc is measly 3.8 but going to bump it up after installing new fans on my cooler going to attempt 4.5 and go down from there.
980 TI is slightly OC

Attached: SPECCY.png (796x542, 72K)

works fine with old hardware but it's shite with newer hardware.
Also it doesn't read temps on amd cpus very well if at all, sometimes giving crazy +100°c readings

forgot pic

thinkpad pending ram and ssd upgrades

Overclock the monitor, pretty sure you can get 75hz or close. Also, would you mind to post a cimebench result? I want to see how much I am losing by having a non k 4790, most people online post really high OCd, I want to see some average OC.

I'd get a bigger SSD, by the time you would need more than 16GB of ram on that thing, the whole laptop would be useless.

Upgrade is imminent

Attached: Untitled.png (650x439, 30K)

9900K maxes at 75C at 5ghz AMA

What is ur cooling because 9900K on an NHD15 is in the 80s.

Attached: pc.png (641x529, 28K)

I REALLY do not like the speccy program

Attached: file.png (660x525, 63K)

Floe 360

>360 and it's still 74C
Holy shit that more heat output than an FX9590, Intel should've never put 8 cores on those little LGA1151 chips, should've kept it HEDT only or switched to a larger socket with a big heatspreader and die.

5 yo pc, only the psu is upgraded

Attached: Screenshot_121.png (493x436, 26K)

I really want to upgrade from my 4690K.

680 watts at full load

Attached: speccy.png (714x589, 65K)

Stop using Speccy, it's outdated and barely works.

It's on it's last legs. Just use HWiNFO64.
