I had a nice Asus mini Android tab. 2K screen, decently fast, but the problem is hardly any apps on android support tablets. You’re more often than not running the same app for phones, on an over sized screen.

iPads have a flourishing App Store for tablet apps. And don’t give me shit about apps not mattering, you know that’s what killed windows mobile.

As long as you don't plan on using an actual keyboard to take notes it's a good laptop replacement, if you plan on using a keyboard you'll need a flat surface to place it on.

I have one, it's quite nice as a budget option for graphical tablets. There are even apps that let me hook it up to my computer and use it as a second display, like a traditional graphics tablet.
My favorite thing about it is that CSP is on it. Not some gimped mobile version, but the real 100% desktop CSP, just ported to an iPad. It's just unfortunate that the CSP devs are copying Adobe's monthly subscription model.

There is literally no reason to get a tablet if you don't draw. Everything else can and should be done on a computer or phone.

Now thinking, I never even reached the point of opening the store when I gave Windows Phone its chances. It was so locked up and the UX in general was so bad that this problem didn't even come up. But iOS too is Apple's demise to the iPad Pro. If it's limited to mobile apps, you'll still need a desktop for half the work. If you have a desktop, might as well go for a Wacom instead for half the price and twice the quality.

Don't forget eReaders. Or at least tablets with eInk screen. Take it easy on your eyes if you're only reading text.

I own it but it's not as comfy as a Samsung Tab s4 - it doesn't do multitasking well outside of like two windows at once.
I can have 10+ apps ready to be selected out of a list on tap of the screen.

I have one. I literally only use it for drawing and watching porn. the pencil is really great and is surprising better and cheaper than most digital drawing tablets. that's about all that's good about it.

I would frankly trust the Russian plane over the Chinese one. Because even if Russian engineering is crude, it's brilliant. It keeps things simple and keeps tolerances wide to account for the drunken idiots who will inevitably assemble the damn thing. Chinese engineering is slapdash and designed to do nothing but cut costs without cutting complexity, and the people who actually put it together try to cut costs further. So you have something that looks outwardly brilliant, but is basically held together by rubber brands and prayers to the money god.

I won an iPad Pro (2nd generation) 12.9 inch in a contest, and it's way too big. I never use it.

Just sell it and get that super cheap Pinetab instead. There are people who would sell their kidney just to own one so you're just sitting on a pile of money. At least that's what I would do if I'd win one.
