Probably better than a 1.4GHz ARM Raspberry Pi, but more power hungry.

i remember using my wacom bamboo fun tablet with a ~3ghz dual core and a 4th gen mobile i5 in photoshop cs2 and cs5, it was usable but it would lag behind if i drew too quickly. gpu may be relevant as well. i don't think you're going to have a lot of fun with your setup unless all you want to do is doodle in mspaint, but it's worth a try.

For the longest time I actually thought it was me. It's not. I wish it were that way if I just left everything would be better. A bunch of people have been really shitty to her since early childhood and then as time went on she withdrew more and more. It's gotten to the point where she's only really comfortable talking to me because she feels everyone else will hurt and I have to push her to talk to the friends she still has and even then it's rare and really stressful for her.

Are some programs just flat out incompatible with Virtual Machines? Tried three games, one worked. Thinking about just booting windows 7 for real at this point.

I have a few videos i just want to add a fade to black effect or dissolve transition at the last 2 seconds with Kdenlive. My problem is that the output file is much larger than the original video. How do I keep the output video the same size and quality as the video I'm editing?
And do I have to render the whole video if I'm only editing a few seconds or there's a faster way?

If I remember right, more complicated visuals, like pic related, are going to result in bigger file size because it cannot be compressed. You might be screwed.

It did that itself many times. Any time it tries to diagnose the problem it just restarts again

you could split the video into two files, apply the effect and reencode just the 2 seconds, then concatenate the files back together, with two caveats;
1. the actual position of the cut needs to be on an i-frame, which may be more than 2 seconds
2. the reencoded video must use the same codec and compatible parameters as the untouched section

That seems rather unusual, word handles different languages on its own. Your OS doesn't need support for it.
Try copy and pasting a few characters into a search engine, your browser should be able to display them normally.

I'm an electrical engineering student, and have not had any experience with solders and soldering. 3rd year, and the one time I was told to pick one up was to warm a diode to see how it reacts to heat.

How do you nest a loop in the python interpreter? (I'm using an IDLE but this applies to command line too)
Say I want to define a simple factorial function. When I type following (pressing enter for each line break):
def fa(n):
x=1
while n>1:
x=x*n
n=n-1
return x

I can't type the 'return x' command; as soon as I hit enter the whole thing executes and the function is defined. I've had this problem in nested loops as well when I want to write a command in the parent loop to be executed after the inner loop is finished.
My current workaround in this case is to use 'if n==1: return x' in place of return inside the loop (which works), but it's only a crutch.

You dont need the top tier brands, but you do need a soldering station where you can set the temperature and replace the tips. The tapered but not-to-a-point tips are easier (for me, an amature that repairs his stuff) since they allow decent heat transfer but are fine enough for SMD soldering.
I bought a $100 ($80 USD) soldering station from a local electronics place and its served me well for 5 years so far. Its some chinese brand but they offered a warranty which indicated some level of trust. IIRC mine is the 60W or 80W model (cant recall exactly) but it heats up very quick enough and gets plenty hot for the limited desoldering ive done.

what I imagine could fail is, if windows (probably GNU/Linux too) is installed in UEFI mode, then BIOS most likely won't have boot option and you'll have to do a repair for that

Sounds like you're using some dumb program you have to install, instead of your router's admin page, which you should be going to. If your ISP provided router straight up lacks the option (which would be unusual and dumb), then you would either have to bridge it to a real router or set it individually on all your devices locally.

Ive got my laptop configured to a different dns, but my isp is still blocking Jow Forums. I use a different service for my phone and a dns change works when using data but browsing via wifi doesnt. I can only conclude its the router thats the issue. I knew about bridging but dont have a second router. Was just asking here if I missed something simple.
