Just went through shipping hell trying to buy a mid to high end mATX. The dropshipper from amazon kept on sending me used mATX mobos.
Upon further research it turns out there are only like 3 companies still making mATX mobos. Which is very odd seeing as how many mATX cases are being pushed out monthly. Ended up having to order an mATX mobo from UK because apperantly they never made it to American markets.

Micro atx is in a weird place marketing wise because of the fork.

mATX doesn't have a market for it anymore. Dual GPU gaming is dead now that nvidia has stopped supporting it and even with crossfire AMD cant compete with nvidia at the high end. Plus since mITX offers all the essential features like wifi, bluetooth, integrated audio, gigabit ethernet, etc, almost everyone outside of the workstation pc market can be satisfied by mITX.

Most mATX boards are cheap compared to ATX or ITX, that bait case has no market.
