S10 is fucking ownage. It's even got stereo speakers which is incredible.
Grayson Bennett
>stereo speakers which is incredible A fucking stereo speakers is "incredible" now: what a time to be alive.
Christopher Hill
well s10 doesn't turn off anything i woke up and all my apps were still on, so. if pocomeme destroys iphone in regular usage s10 rapes it's dead body
Ian Lee
my S9 has stereo too and it really does make a massive difference. you notice it if you ever use a non-stereo phone or tablet after that.
Samuel Hall
is it, though? my xperia z2 (2014) has stereo speakers

>opening apps is the only performance metric >after apple took the processing power lead benchmarks are never posted anymore that’s why you andreets will never succeed. You want to SHOW that your phone is better not your phone to actually BE better.
David Martin
...you realize the iPhone X also had that, right? The notch contains a speaker.
Luke Mitchell
I recommend Note 9.
Alexander Turner
opening apps was always the best way to compare since anpoopoo benchmark started to give points for the amount of cores alone (and that actually gave android phones the advantage, not iphones) and who cares if your iphone scores 6 million points if it can't open chrome fast enough

Perfect bloat. Spybook built in and unremovable without root/AdHell.

It’s not important because the 3 apps you always use stay in memory throughout the day. And when you actually need to open that extra app once a day - the difference is literally half a second.
What matters is how app works when it’s already open, lags, freezes, stutter, choppy animations, does app make you wait for anything. On iPhone I never feel like I have to guess - “did I press this button and it’s loading or it froze or maybe I didn’t press it?” - it either loads instantly or there’s an intentional loading screen. I never have to wait for the keyboard to appear or icons on the home screen to reload - which still happens on android TO THIS DAY.
Performance matters in actually high performance tasks - video recording and encoding. You will see the difference when your 4k android footage is visibly lower bitrate than an iPhone one. You will see the difference when you can’t record in 4k60 at all. You will see the difference when you need to trim a video and it takes 2 minutes instead of 30 seconds. You will see the difference when high performance destroys your battery in minutes because CPU is working at peak performance.
