what is the lightest and safest ROM for galaxy s5 pls

>try to check this phone on yt
>not a single real video of it
>only pajeets talking in broken english and the same upscaled op jpeg spinning
>their accent sounds like they're slurping cum while talking
I hope pakis and rajeevs nuke eatchother into extinction, revolting cockroaches

>yfw op is a pajeet

only best bang for buck respect brother

are you a pajeet?

Tbh I would prefer if s10e was like this but with it's better hardware, aluminium frame and all that

I need to get a new phone, I'll just use it for messaging, phone calls and random internet browsing on the fly - I also want a rootable device, and as cheap as possible. A Sony Xperia XA2 for 110€ is good enough for this purpose?

Zuk Z2?

I was a pajeet

Yes, should be fine. FYI the phone has official LineageOS and even Sailfish OS available for it in case that's something you'd interested in.

I'm getting a Mi Mix 3 my dudes.

>browse for a new phone review
>accidentally click on a techdroider video

*ahem*

HOLOCAUST CURRYNIGGERS

don't clip your foreskin with it zhang

Why not Mix 3 5G

I love phones

Its like 70% more expensive.

enjoy your cancer

s10e is LITERALLY the only good phone

could be perfect with a hole on the left and a bigger battery

What are the disvantages of installing KitKat Android on my smartphone?

i cant see myself having anything other than an iphone

phone is stuck at the samsung logo since the reset
should I wait or should I try again?

No security patches and no further support for a significant amount of apps?

People who had a smartphone go through Nougat, Oreo and Pie.
I have a phone on Nougat. This Android version is very smooth, battery life is fantastic and I like how minimalistic everything looks.
My phone (a Pixel 1) has Pie support (and Q, but it's only Beta) and I've been thinking about upgrading. Will I fuck myself in the ass by doing it?

Taking my S6 to the repair shop tomorrow (camera cracked and there's dirt behind the lens cover).
I'm going to delete everything and perhaps encrypt the drive and then delete, but is that really necessary? Would encrypting it be enough? I don't want them to see my files.

Is the built-in encryption good enough to protect my stuff?

is it worth trading my note9 and 150 bucks for s10± 512 GB ?

I want to install a stock rom on my S5 but it is restarting randomly and that can cause an eternal brick when it happen during the rom install

What do

thanks

No, wtf are you still doing on Nougat??

good if you want a good camera
bad if you want update support past another year
updates will be EOL around this time next year

Is it possible to flash TWRP temporarily with overwriting the stock recovery and fucking over OTA updates?
I have an Zenfone Max Pro M1. That bad boy runs stock android already and the only things I need is to flash fdroid as a system app. I don't want to install custom shit because I've had a really bad experience with official lineage in my previous phone, motherfucker could never get 100% battery right always dropped to 99 or 98% right after unplugging the cable and only charged to 99% when turned off. Fuck that crap.

Anyway is it possible?

why not just install it normally?

Big surprise a lot of video will come from two countries which make the majority of the population on this planet.

>i wish i could change, but the "muh ecosystem" is very real
Is this the power of your "ecosystem"?

You'd need a custom ROM and to manually encrypt your phone. But I'm not sure what happens when and if you do that and someone connects the phone to a PC with a USB cable.

Not so much of a surprise but more of a sudden disgust that there's so much of those insects out there and how all of them seem to fling to technoblogging about their poverty poophones.

Wish there was a special curry filter to never see them again.

thank fuck I got it to work again
had to use the normal CSC and not the HOME_CSC and then I had to switch to Odin v3.13 because 3.12 had a problem and was shutting down from RQT_close

just in case anyone ever encounters similar problems

Yeah it's possible, you just do "fastboot boot twrp.img" instead of "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" to temporarily boot into TWRP without flashing it.

If the phone supports booting stuff via fastboot, as in the manufacturer did not disable that and your bootloader is unlocked you can do:
fastboot boot recovery.img

Uh... hate to break it to you, but you better get used to seeing more and more indians on the internet. Their country is steadily industrializing with more and more internet access. More and more of them are learning English. Eventually they'll overtake the US as the country with the most english speakers...

is s10's notch just a fad or will it revolutionize notches?

I'm Canadian, have Moto Z Play, like the battery life. Need something with good battery or better camera because I can't have both. On Rogers/Fido network

Another Motorola or OnePlus 6T? That's sort of my outside budget I could push to Galaxy S10e but the reduced battery life would be a deal killer because I often have to be on my phone outside without a place to charge

>poverty pophones
>the same phone he wants to buy
Fucking retard, too retarded to realize he's as retarded as the people he hates.

Op7 gonna get released soon
I would wait for that if i were you

>the same phone he wants to buy
Aren't you implying too much here?

And then wait 6 months for 7t, fuck off

Is it worth trading in my note9 for the s10+ and some extra bucks ?

Because then I wouldn't be able to use OTA updates.
Thanks man

I'm looking for a poorfag friendly LineageOS phone for a burger on AT&T. Only requirements are USB C and headphone jack.

Attached: 902.jpg (680x544, 33K)

All of these notch/hole phones will look dated or midrange next year.
Nah, the difference in everyday use is tiny, Note is still a top tier device

>USB C
>Lineage
Good luck
Maybe the Poco

S5 Active has it iirc, but it's hard to find the LOS compatible one

Btw one more thing.
If I flash what I want will it survive OTA updates?

How do I completely disable OTA updates on my S9+ its been annoying me since this morning.

Moto X4 for $149
slickdeals.net/f/12850942-android-one-moto-x4-64-gb-149-google-fi

As I said, it's smooth and has great battery life.
I heard Oreo and Pie can get real laggy on the Pixel 1, and battery life is not as good.

Boys,
>EU
>500€ Max
>No notch of curved shit meme
>No phablet
>Headphone jack

How soon?
Is there a problem with OT or the like? What should I get?

piexel expirence

Most stock ROM rewrite TWRP with stock recovery without Magisk installed, or the recovery flash binary removed from /system.

V30. AT&T (H931) version is usually cheapest, but any burger version other than T-Mobile (H932) can be flashed to AT&T bands.

Late April early may

Too bad they have 4 times as many people as the US and less than 1/100 the amount of toilets lol

XZ1/XZ1C

Any source on that? If so it's perfect time I'm getting about $1k then in backpay

Thinking about buying a Mi A2.
Anything i should know about?

I dont like ballsack notches, still more expensive and no OIS.

It's not worth it, no headphone jack, no expandable storage, meh battery at only 3000mah, throttling issues with the SD660, slow EMMC bug unfixed for months:
Issuetracker.google.com/issues/118036531

>slow EMMC bug unfixed for months:
This is really a hardware issue that plagued the original Galaxy Note, as well as the Note 2 and the Note 4. It can't really be fixed.

mi-globe.com MIUI rom builder (based off xiaomi.eu build) got updated and now gives an option to install youtube vanced baked into the rom

feels good man, whole family on xiaomi chink shit using this rom and I can set it up with minimal bloat for them

Attached: vanced.png (1049x1233, 160K)

Fuck me
Should i hope on xiaomi train?
I was thinking of getting that slider phone

>€400
>EU
>No notch
>Would be nice if it had a 3.5mm jack and is SD card expansible

Redmi note 7 or 7 pro

Honestly I'm a xiaomi fanboy now so I'll say yes.

There's two main reasons why I'm using only xiaomi phones now. First reason is the unified updates... I had an old xiaomi mi3 phone that went from MIUI6 to 7 to 8 to 9 to 10, and on miui10 the phone is still reasonable and useful with 2018 security patches . Second reason is the hardware, xiaomi's $200-400 phones feel better than $800 phones from other brands I've owned. I can get good hardware cheap and put whatever I want on it since bootloader unlock and flashing a rom is the same for all of them, and every rom just works because xiaomi hands out source code.

I actually prefer miui. I'm one of those people that only needs one homescreen page with a few subfolders. It restricts my tech-retarded family enough that they don't end up with 9 homescreens with 1 app each years later.

Am I losing too much if Im buying the Redminote 7 instead of the Pocophone F1?

You're losing out on gaming ability and possibly some battery life. If you use your phone for browsing music social media and pics you aren't going to notice shit, but get 4gb version and make sure lte bands are fine

I was looking at the 7 pro but there is no global version available (yet) which has support for more 4G network bands and there is a slight notch.

Thaks, dont care too much for games. I just want a good multitask phone, my iPhone 6 feels too slow and also miss Android.

How can I know the bands are okay?

look it up on kimovil

Sorry but dont know how to read it, que I have Telcel 4G. Is it bad if it has 1 out of 2?

Attached: 29465D03-AD55-4739-9600-B2DE4150CADE.png (750x1334, 143K)

The version for southeast asia has the bands you need but importing it from the other side of the planet is probably a bad idea, see if it's available from your local mi store if such a thing exists

That's a low frequency band. Perfectly usable, but expect your speed to drop to 3G in some rural/remote areas and inside any room with thicker walls or underground.

my sister is looking for a new phone since she is tired of her moto g6 taking a fat shit, bootlooping and getting no service and taking shit pictures.

i narrowed it down to either one of the pixel/xl 1's for $100 or so, or a pixel 2 for $209.99

is it worth the extra $$$ for a pixel 2?

pixel 1

why dont wh*toids review midrange phones which are relevant to the majority of the planet? you cucks hate money?

Jow Forums has always been racist for the sake of being racist, go back to Faceberg

Leaf here, is there a chinkphone under $300 that can run LineageOS and work on Canadian networks. Specifically Koodo.

>would like something waterproof and shockproof

Why aren't Oppo and Vivo being shilled in here so much? Almost everyone not from the West/India owns either one of those brands while Xiaomi still has a niche market.

I have currently had a LG G5 with a curved screen and that screen cracked on me twice.

Does any phones that have a curve edge that I need to pass on? I dont want my phone cracking easily like the LG G5

>Why aren't Oppo and Vivo being shilled in here so much?
they dont sell them here. oppo sells the one plus here as its own brand.

Because their phones are overpriced, probably because of the aggressive marketing tactic they employ

My phone was supposed to get Android 9 in Q1 2019, so I decided to check for updates earlier. It found an update and I spent like an hour downloading it only for my dickwad wifi to cut out and make the download fail at 94%. I went to check for updates again but now it just tells me it's already up to date. Meanwhile it says the last update was over a month ago. I am almost certain this was the Android 9 update. What the fuck do I do? I've tried restarting my phone and leaving it off for a whole but it just keeps saying up to date. I never even finished the update download much less began the install.
