Imagine being stupid enough to base more systems on numbers with few divisors.

what

The ancient sumerians used a numbering system divisible by 2, 3, and 5.

Is it any wonder that we have yet to build a marvel that parallels the pyramids in significance?

Fuck you nigger, you don't get to decide shit.

20 would be terrible
24 relates to the 12 lunar cycles, (ancients regarded night and as completely separate so it's no surprise they counted 2 12 hours periods)
60 is also a great number, because it's divisible by the first 6 numbers.

fuck you dude
seriously fuck you

Just change the number of minutes in an hour to make up the difference.

72 minutes in an hour, 20 hours in a day. I feel like we can do better. Can we change the length of a second so we get 70 seconds in a minute, 70 minutes in a hour and 20 hours in a day?

Not an argument

ok kid, here's your (You)

Divide one day by 10 to establish the length of an hour. Divide by that 100 for minutes. Divide that by 100 for seconds. It’s all made up anyway. So you can divvy it up however you like.

I like the Japanese system of temporal hours: each day and night is 6 hours and each hour is 1/6th total relative day/night time.
Needs some creative clockwork to keep track of mechanically tho.

Man I know, clocks are so complex. It's do hard to tell the time

>not using unix time as your primary unit of time measurement
it's 1554089119 o'clock, almost bedtime

The French instituted decimalized time during after their revolution. Didn't work well and they reverted.

why "fix" something that works well?

You mean Jow Forums filename time?
