Sorry I only use HDD's

Is there any way to check that on Linux?

smartctl -a /dev/sda
Device Model: SAMSUNG SSD 830 Series
[...]
Sector Size: 512 bytes logical/physical
[...]
241 Total_LBAs_Written 0x0032 099 099 000 Old_age Always - 38182110174

(38182110174 * 512 bytes) in TB = 19.54 TB

Because they are queers, who think if they write above 5TB the drive will suddenly combust.

People using HDD in 2019 where we have 1000gbs into sub 200g mobile computer are like ones using spears in ww2 > niggers

Hmm, I've spent 2 years in front of the computer in the last 8 years. I probably need more of a life.

yes it's a battle
poor HDD fags, will get their boipuccies creampied amirite

I've had this thing for over 4 years now. At the time I bought this drive specifically because it was claimed to have the longest life span of SSDs on the market. I was scared shitless at the thought of losing my data.

I feel like even the shittiest SSD at the time would still be kicking.

Reads would probably be in petabyte range.

If I update my boot 860 Evo, will it format the SSD?

no

My OS drive.

Power it off, order a replacement, then power it on and dd everything immediately to a new drive. 36 reallocated sectors is the threshold, you have 58. If it wasn't like this forever, your drive is going to be dead.

>total capacity
>233 GB

How is this possible?
