Off the top of my head Deus ex MD stuttered, kingdom come stuttered, crysis 3 grass level stuttered, killing floor 2 on suicidal/hell on earth stuttered in late waves, black ops 4/battlefield 1/5 stuttered. This was with a 4690k 4.6 ghz. 100% CPU usage was common.

I do agree with you though about most laptops being utter trash. Laptop manufacturers have realized that 80% of people who buy laptops just want the cheapest thing they can find that plays youtube and facebook, with possibly some MS office thrown in. It's been a race to the bottom in the past 10 or so years, and even Apple who used to put out machines that were solid, but overpriced, has been adopting more and more cheap practices.

Honestly, go to a store, and check out the matebook d with ryzen, it's suprisingly good for this rate. Not everything's top notch, but it's so far the best Ryzen laptop with a good and thought through cooling concept unlike the x360 from HP. The only thing is that it misses an ethernet port which personally annoys the shit out of me, but as it is an ongoing trend there's not much you can do about it.
