/diy/ I guess but this was shocking. I had a contractor working on our amonia chillers and he couldn't figure out why the new transformer he put in "didn't work", fucking scary

My case looked about this bad after 7 years of sitting. Had to throw it in the shower before I could use it for a new build

You would think they would eventually fix that bloated battery thing

Hot wire probably wirenutted, wirenut fell off and is touching the metal electrical box

I dont get it, is it missing -v and then?

it's not the first time that I see something like that

Razer sponsored Apple

just cleaned mine recently and it was just like this, i don't even get how it became such a mess, but then again, i'm fuzzy about when was exactly the last time i took it apart properly, i cleaned it well but i think something was left hanging a bit too close to the big vent it has, so when i start it up it goes clackclackclackCLACKCLAKCLACK and it takes a minute to stop, i think i'm just gonna replace it because shit's annoying and taking it apart after seeing how filthy it was and wasting so much time cleaning it just makes me mad and lazy

Meth is the answer.

i guess someone had to find an use for the thing after so long

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve needed a wrench working on my PC

is it weird this static picture makes me worried to no end?

How hard is it to fuck up phone screens?
With phone screens being so tiny, keeping them flat isn't an issue and a screen that bad should never make it to a phone unless your gathering them from the trash bin
Doing a reverse image search it reveals they're chinkshit so not surprising

No. I cringe away from it as well.

how do they even get like this

That's ghetto.

These are gore.

Are you going to do the same shit like /b/ and /gif/ with merging rekt and gore together, because you're too dumb to know the difference? Mostly because new blood.

i find this extremely cute deep inside

Was the man doing it enriched with melanin (including hispanic)?

you post something then

That's why you don't buy vegashit

What's the bubble wrap on the sides for, just for looks or what?

I did. I posted a dumb argument.

Noise cancellation / dampening.
No wonder, the fans would be running 100% all the time and it would still cook itself.

I mean it looks like it has a pull to open tab on the cut off part?

toasty

Usually the top card would get much hotter, but in that anons case (no pun intended), both cards would, plus they are being feed hot CPU air from the rad and little to no other airflow.
Fermi was worse than AMD's Vega is now, in terms of efficiency.

This happens because the user charged it too much. Just use it for a while and it should deflate back down.

GPU are blowers so they would exhaust their heat as well as help exhaust the heat from the CPU
There is also the PSU fan to help evacuate heat
It's clearly not a system that would run very cool but it would be adequate
If the GPUs were not blowers then there would be issues

2000Watt server PSU wouldn't stop frying it

its obviously Polaris and MSI doesn't install fuses on NV either - plenty of those died in mining rigs burning the entire board (not as bad as this one tho)

it's fermi, unless you consider 60c idle, "very cool."

Attached: 1542128728853.jpg (670x670, 145K)

oh look free sherbet

Both the fans are obscured, one by the other card and the second one by the bottom of the case. Better SLI motherboards made the PCIe slot gap wider for that exact reason too. There's no way adequate enough airflow in that case, unless there's a side panel with a fan pointing at the GPUs.
Rad/fan blowing in from the front is always worse though than exhausting it. The AIO is literally a dumb decision with such a built.

Do you think the designers of the old blowers didn't think the cards would be stacked together so close? This was a a time where 4 way SLI was a thing and cards had to be stacked close
It's not going to be quite but I think it would be enough to keep thermal throttling away

The peak of Soviet power efficiency.

that must be a VERY IMPORTANT nut

technically it's a light emitting resistor👌

Attached: 1542135327598.jpg (640x480, 127K)

They did, yet it wasn't the best design choice. Maybe even planned obsolescence, who knows.
There's plenty of backslash about blower cards in SLI and throttling was an actual issue. Even the single slot Quadro blower versions got better results.

i agree user, Singapore is trash

BASED

Step 1: Be Mexican

what's wrong with the second mb? it's either been replaced or being used to replace the one inside, the wrench is in case there a super hot nut inside there, you never know
mexican here, i've seen this happen twice in my life, once it was at my grandma's house because one of my uncles or cousins replaced something and did a shitty job at packing and keeping the wires away from the goddamn top where the (rather long) screw went through the insulation of a wire

GPU failure sucks but that setup looks comfy, wouldn't consider this gore at all.

dwarf fortress?

That's quite clearly a 5:4 monitor.

Fuckin STEAMPUNK I love it

a single gust of wind and your lungs implode

It's actually 5:4. I still use it as my second monitor.
Also, it was either bad RAM or corrupted BIOS (not sure which), I still use the same graphics card.

It's an oled defect, since oled pixels are powered by brightness of the led, when the screen goes to a low brightness or dark color scene, the pixels fon't know what to do and they just spazz out random colors.
Anything from orange to yellow to green.
Never buy oled, it's trash.
