wear a scary costume

Unplug the wifi cable

Your fortune: Better not tell you now

Put a condom on your router

Install gentoo

Good, not reused passwords (keepass etc help with this)
Think before you type (no personal info if possible, does the site seem legit, why do they need this info)
VPN in some cases

1. Use free or open source software
2. Don't use social media
3. Never sign up for anything
4. Never post personal info
5. Be a software minimalist
6. Disable JS when you need to.

...

dont go online

> never use non-free software, this includes js
> Librebooted machine
> Self-hosted services
> Never trust anything you didn't make yourself

If you don't need "super fast" website loading you might also use the Tor browser.

The more people use it (even for just browsing the clear web, basically for everyday use), the more anonymous we all are.

Don't go online

The problem with that would be Jow Forums blocking you from accessing it, but hey, that's a good thing on the other hand.

OC from me from a while back

Imagine being this autistic

yes but i don´t care and i don´t have nothing to hide so daijobu user

Adblockers and not being dumb.

Nigger do you really expect me to believe you made libreboot?

Don't use social media (including Jow Forums if you really care)
Use openNIC
Block any IP addresses of Google, Cloudflare, and Amazon
Don't bother with Tor since cloudflare basically makes it worthless
Ultimately, the best way to stay safe online is to not be online.

do some proofreading next time

>use adblockers (ublock origin) + the "don't track me google" and https-everywhere browser addons
>if possible, use the noscript browser addon
>if possible, browse the internet in a hardened linux virtual machine, in incognito mode and/or
>if you are running windows, then use antivirus software

your guide kinda sucks m8. using social media isn't even a problem, as long as you use fake names and/or simply don't expose yourself to it too much (no personal info other than your name, and even that, only partly)

yah joogle plz no track me im sure u will not add me to a separate list of privacy minded people to track further

TempleOS and Xanax

m8 my business relies on me showing my face. its my main source of income to be social. wat do

then try not to reveal any kind of personal contact info (emails, phone, etc.), and keep business contact info strictly separated from personal stuff.
also, don't talk about personal stuff
other advice applies.

you know every time you click on a Google search result, you click on a Google link that redirects you to the target URL? "don't track me google" removes that tracking URL, so Google won't know much about you (Google still can track you in other ways, but that's the first and most important way for them to know you)

BTW, I actually use 2+ different browsers sessions, for different purposes and different levels of security (JS completely disabled, JS enabled + adblock, ...).

*Enable JS when you need to

Start with small steps.
>switch to firefox
>privacy extensions: privacy badger, https everywhere, uBlock origin
>get a password manager: Bitwarden, use strong ass password for it.
>use the password generator for your passwords, enjoy the power of the password manager.
>switch to encrypted emails: Protonmail/Tutanota.
>switch from google to other search engines: DuckDuckGo/StartPage
>NEVER use facebook/instagram
>Find an alternative for anything Google related.
>Telegram/Signal for messaging
>try to only use open source software.
>switch to Linux: start with Ubuntu/Mint and move over to something else after some time
>use encyption to protect sensitive data: VeraCrypt
>custom android ROMs for your phone: LineageOS
....
>use tor
>learn to hack
>become xXX420Haxxtorxx69x
>get fucked by NSA
>go to jail
>get offline
