Alternative to Mac Book Pro?

I am enough with this overpriced shit.

thinkpad

Elitebook

Install Gentoo

Xiaomi Notebook pro
Very similar for much less.
It's not perfect but it's decent and has the same look without an shitty apple logo.

That xiaomi thing is basically a clone

>Librebook
>Surface Book 2, other Surfaces
>Huawei matebook X for Looks.
>Dell XPS
>HP Spectre
>Fujitsu Lifebook
>Lenovo Yoga

I used to think ThinkPads were just a meme, and t be honest they still look like a toy computer for me, I just bought my first t430, and it's quite good.
Except for the audio. The sound is worse than my 1$ AA battery speakers

All good options in my opinion. Even the macbook if you have the money for it and just like the way it feels. If you're installing your own OS it's not like it really matters anyways. Worrying about your hardware choice because of the software thats on it is toddler-tier shit and if that affects your decision you shouldn't be on Jow Forums

XPS if you want a Linux-friendly laptop
Thinkpad T for everything else

>you should not be on Jow Forums
>Jow Forums is one person
also who the fuck are you to decode who should come here and not? who the fuck are you fucking stupid weeb?

Just get a MacBook Pro. It's decent desu.

You shouldn't support the current Apple. They are a very anti-consumer company right now and their products all come out withpretty bad flaws that they refuse to admit because they don't want the normies to realize that they keep fucking up,
They rather blame their customers.

Kill yourself you can't even properly code on it because of the fn key

I just have a lot of money and I have a preference for it's ecosystem.

Why not a hackintosh?

XPS
Thinkpad X1 Carbon/Extreme
Surface Book/Laptop
An older MBP
Matebook X Pro

>An older MBP
How old and how much would be a reasonable price?

Older would be pre-butterfly keyboard models. Price depends where you live

2015 and older

What's a laptop which has a similar touch/trackpad to the Mac?
It's honestly the one and only reason I want to get one; every other trackpad I've used is buggy as shit (Dell XPS) or hasn't advanced since the early 2000s.

once you go clit you can't go back

The Matebook X Pro is pretty Macbook-esque. It's not much cheaper though.

>I am enough
0/10 pajeet. Why would you buy a new laptop if you had enough of spending money?

thinkpad

Just get a 2015 retina and you’re good to go (unless you need those spec bumps, like 6-core CPUs and better GPUs)

Or just consider hackintosh

>because of the fn key
looool stop being a babby

Literally worse than Acer.
