Ryzen 3000 when it launches
This thing could run at 4.2ghz all day, but recently I had to lower it to 3.6ghz otherwise it was prone to crashing, raising the voltage made no difference

Well current rumors from chinese ES's is latency issues depending on RAM, X470 boards are shit, and 12c/24t at only 4.3Ghz with turbo up to 5Ghz, but only on 2-6 cores.

I mean, it's gonna be an improvement, but compared to what was being "leaked" over the last 6+ months, it's a let down for sure.

We'll see how it pans out over the next 3-5 months I guess.

The 2700x single core turbo is 4.24ghz unless you have a good motherboard that supports precision boost and even then it boosts to like 4.4 for split seconds. 5ghz is a big step up. All core turbo on my 2700x is like 3.8ghz or something

I got the chair for dirty cheap, pricing error I think. Its usually 150 dollar, with 120-100 on sale. I got it for 80. Headphones are coming in, will change the case wit the CPU.

zero issues with sagging because I bought a LINMONN leg & screwed it in, I have an ikea 3 miles from me

it's good as it comes pre-stained, only issue is it might need refinishing depending on ur standards after 1 year of heavy usage, as it can get a little worn on the top (it's just the top layer that has walnut wood)

I paid closer to 200gbp iirc, it's like 150 atm for me to get a new worktop, which is funny because premixed wipe on polyurethane that would work making it look brand new costs 150, so I might as well buy a new one (unless I mix my own wipe on polyurethane with paint thinner)

5 GHz are realistic on single cores, but I expect the allcore boost to be like 4.2-4.4 Ghz. Still good for a 16C, its like a cheaper and better Threadripper that fits on my AM4 socket.

Alex drawer units were like $60 each, the countertop is a solid oak counter from ikea for $140, while the Karlby is particleboard and is a bit more expensive. The risers under the countertop were $10.
